Why do you think some teenage girls behave in sexually promiscuous ways?

What are some of the possible reasons behind why they do this to themselves?


Particularly in obviously self damaging behaviour?Why do you think some teenage girls behave in sexually promiscuous ways?
1. Hormones


2. Lack of self control


3. Peer pressure


4. Equating sex with ';love'; and wanting to be loved


5. Sex feels good


6. The typical teen feeling of invincibility (nothing bad will happen to me)





I'm sure there are other reasons as well...Why do you think some teenage girls behave in sexually promiscuous ways?
Lots of reasons. It's exciting, feels good, gets attention, short cut to popularity, short cut to getting a boy friend. Over the long run, it doesn't really accomplish much outside of a long term relations, but... And it isn't necessarily self damaging but probably is for most.
Misunderstanding, Lack of Knowledge, Greed, Attention, Stupidity.
Raging harmones and no parental supervision.
girls are curious if someone tells not to do it they are going to do because they shouldn't plus they don't think about the odds of getting pregnant or a std. tv is also not a good role model, for some girls the affection they receive during sex may be neglected in other areas in their life so they may think that involving themselves in sexual acts will fill voids in other areas.
