  • Why do teenage boys send out mixed messages?

Why do most teenager boys always send out mixed messages, like there nice and cute to you one minute and then there all hard and like they dont evan care. evan though they no the girl loves him like hell.

Please boys answer this question!!!Why do teenage boys send out mixed messages?
That is the definition of a boy!Why do teenage boys send out mixed messages?
Im 20 now. But when i was a teenage i went through this..

Teen boys are nice up to a certain point then change because they dont want to think they are gettin mushy. They like to act like the boss and make girls run to them

But when you get older you will realise guys do this yea...But when you dump them they will come running back if they truely love you. If they never loved you and were only using you then they wont even come back!

    P.S thanks for answering my Q x
    its simple.

when a teen likes a girl and its their first or they really like the girl well they go sweet on them but when around other people they go sour.

if you do that to him he will know what hes doing and how it feels
Teenage boys are just confused and inexperienced. Unfortunately some of them never outgrow these tendencies!
It's call ego. A lot of guys want to act hard when they r around they're friends and when they r with they're girlfriend they act like themselves. Most guys grow out of it. but some don't
Because they are still in a stage where they don't understand what a relationship is. They are still growing up.
They have little knowledge of things they don't understand yet.

What do teenage girls want to see in magazines?

I am creating a new magazine and would like to know what YOU girls out there would like to feature?

What is missing in magazines these days?

What is there too much of these days?

What type of advice is needed?

Should normal girls be featured on the magazines?

    Who are your rolemodels/style icons?

    LET US KNOW YOUR INSIGHT.

xoxo G.I.LWhat do teenage girls want to see in magazines?
The things that are missing are how to have confidence in yourself, %26amp; how to be okay with your body/face. There is wayyy too much Miley Cyrus. Every teen magazine I see, there is Miley Cyrus's face. The advice that I think is needed is how to kiss good :P, make friends, do makeup, %26amp; just normal teenage girl things. Yes, I think that normal girls should be shown in the magazine. Just to show that you don't have to be rich %26amp; gorgeous just to be loved/famous. My role models are Amanda Bynes mostly because you don't hear about her getting arrested, getting new boyfriends, %26amp; out partying. I really hope your magazine works out, %26amp; tell me the name, %26amp; when it does come out, I will tell every friend of mine to buy it, including me!What do teenage girls want to see in magazines?
    1. they should tell us more about how to do well in school, and how to make new friends and how to talk to boys

    2. too much of those idiots miley cyrus and selena gomez and them. also a little too much makeup advice. i mean, tell us how to do make up, but not 20 pages of it. also there is a lot of expensive clothes. how about bargain clothes please?

    3. how to do well in school, talk to new people, how to talk to boys, a little makeup advice, about clothes, and movie and tv show reviews

    4. yes please, not a lot of famous silly people.

    5. i like blake lively and jordin sparks. they are not flashy flashy, they are cool
WELL SOME GIRLS WANT TO SEE PORN AND SOME OTHER FASHIONS STUFF. MOST GIRLS READS ABOUT MOSTLY FASHIONS, HEALTH, HOW TO LOSE VIRGINITY?, WORRYING ABOUT THEIR HOROSCOPES, FAMOUS ARTISTS AND ACTRESS STUFF, AND SOME GOSSIPS ABOUT FAMOUS BOYS AND GAYS.

Im a teenage boy, what is the best way to tone my biceps and triceps?

im about 165 pounds and 5 foot 10 inches tall. whats the best way to tone my biceps and triceps fastIm a teenage boy, what is the best way to tone my biceps and triceps?
Keep in mind that if you want to tone your arms, do 3-4 sets of about 12-15 repetitions.

For your biceps, do the concentartion curl, barbell curl, standing dumbbell curl, and preacher curl.

For your triceps, do the close-grip bench press and the french press.

If you don't have a clue on how to do these exercises, look them up on google or something. I'm sure you'll find pictures that will guide you through it.

Above all, do not do these exercises on a daily basis. Your arms need time to relax and rest, so take days off, or better yet, work out your legs.

You can also do a few chest and shoulder exercises that will work a few fiber muscles of your biceps and triceps.

You should set aside one day every week for pushups. What I typically do is about 20 sets of 12-13 pushups.

Good luck.Im a teenage boy, what is the best way to tone my biceps and triceps?
Triceps are easy. Tricep curls with a dumbell. That muscle will carve up very quickly.

The biceps, you should do a comination of preacher curls, isolation curls and barbell curls.

In addition, push-ups and pull ups will help lengthen the muscle.
    Workout? Duh
Nothing will really work that fast but in order to tone any part of your body, you use low weights and a lot of repetitions. So basically if you normally rep. 8 x 3 sets use lower weights and change to about 10~20 x 3 sets.
Doing curls w/weights. BUT get professional help to be sure you're doing them correctly. You can injure yourself if you don't know proper procedure.
    Yeah.

I myself am a teenage boy.

My gym instructor told me to pump in more muscles by doing biceps curl since I have not fully grown.

Also I did the triceps exercise but I can't remember its name...

Anyway, check this site to see how to get your body ripped. These are for beginners like me and you :D

Whats the usual dosage of Macrobid when used to treat a bladder infection in a teenage girl?

My nursing drug reference says that the usual dose of Macrobid for adults and children over 12 is 50-100 milligrams up to four times a day, depending on the severity of the infection and what type of bacteria is treating the infection, and how long you have had it. If it is a chronic infection, a stronger dose may be prescribed. You may want to know that the common side effects are headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. This particular antibiotic is really hard on your gastrointestinal system. Make sure to take it with food and it won't bother your stomach as much. Oh, and it can turn your pee really dark, so don't be shocked it if is like brown or orange.Whats the usual dosage of Macrobid when used to treat a bladder infection in a teenage girl?
5 to 7 mg/kg. (remember 2.2 pounds per kg) in children

100mg twice a day is the adult dosage

50mg four time a day for the non-sustain release dosage in adults.

Keep in mind that e. coli is the major cause of bladder infections and that Nitrofurantoin (the active ingredient in Macrobid) is only effective in treating bladder infections caused by e.coli.

So, for repeated infections, it would be a good idea to switch to another drug because it is not effective if other organisms may be involved.

Long term repeated us leads to scar tissue formation in the lungs, (Pulmonary Fibrosis) that can silently damage the lungs for life.Whats the usual dosage of Macrobid when used to treat a bladder infection in a teenage girl?
I think that it's anywhere from 250 to 500 mg but it has been a while since I last took it. I took it for a breast infection while I was breastfeeding so it may be different. Every time that I took it, it gave me severe diarrhea so I asked them to lower the dosage and I always made sure that I ate before I took it.

  • The media has a major role in teenage girls and their body perception?

The media has a major role in many things we are unaware of. As far as body perception, many teenage girls see what the media idealizes as beautiful and believe if they do not look like it, there is something wrong with them. The same thing works for the medias representation of love. You will notice that what you believe is a perfect relationship, is probably what you see in a movie. Unfortunately for us, we compare ourselves and our relationships to the media bias and sometimes we have unrealistic expectations. The media has a major role in teenage girls and their body perception?

Is it possible to find a classy teenage guy

Or will i have to wait until im older? Im not into the weedsmoking party goers that dont work lol. I like hard workers, who have goals and dress nicely! Is this possible to find at 16 or in highschool or is it just a waste of time.

Answers from older people are appreciated!

thankyou in advanceIs it possible to find a classy teenage guy
Yes. Where do you live? You just described my son. He just got his first serious girlfriend (and car) and is in 11th grade. It took him a long time to find someone who met his rigid standards, but he finally did. You will find someone too. Don't push it. Even if you don't have a boyfriend in HS, you still have a lot of time.Is it possible to find a classy teenage guy
haha its gonna be hard to find a good guy like that now a days they are still out there but alot of younger males/females are not with the right mind set yet they like to party and club and etc etc

just gotta really REALLY get to know someone and their belifs really focus on their past realationships and how they talk to girls and how often they flirt.

PEOPLE cant just change in a realtionship like folks say..it takes time.

    but yea its possible
i am 16, i dress nicely, i am in student coucil, i have many goals one of which is to go to hobart william smith collge and become a doctor. i work my but off in school, run cross country and dont do any drugs. I try not to be a horn dog and to respect girls. I think of myslef as classy

    so ya its possible.
You're best bet is to wait. Most guys in high school aren't really goal orientated. Maybe by your senior year you might meet one or two but not at 16..at least I know i wasn't at 16. I'm guessing a good reason for this is that girls do mature faster than guys and so while you might be ready to find a classy guy, they're still having fun playing practical jokes on one another and growing up.
yes it is possible because a lot of boys that i talk to our popular and they are really nice and classy and even boys who r not popular that r classy too no matter how u look at it there r classy guys in high school im 16
yes... you just have to look for one carefully. the bad boys are on the prowl you really have to dig deep into the well. and you have to respect yourself as a young lady and be charming and mature.
well, I haven't found one yet. But you're only 16, and you still have a lot of time to find a guy. I'm glad you have high standards! You go girl! :-)
Depends where you live, really. And who you hang out with. They're out there, though.
yep very possible. i found mine %26lt;3
few and far between! but they r out there, just hard to find! keep ur morals and blow off the rest!
    aim me at sniper2073
    ha i wish,

    but nope.

they are all horny and immature

Why is it, that single mother have two go through so much trouble raising teenage girls who are disrespectful?

what i mean by that is, they want to be adults before their time. I always tell my daughter, you need to enjoy being a child as long as you can. Once you start having children of your own, there's just more than one mouth to feed ,clothing, ect......Why is it, that single mother have two go through so much trouble raising teenage girls who are disrespectful?
You have not done enough to teach them responsibility. Once they see how bad it sucks to have a responsibility they will be plenty OK with being just a kid. Worst case scenario, they start acting more responsible. Why is it, that single mother have two go through so much trouble raising teenage girls who are disrespectful?
I have 3 daughters 2 of which are teenagers. One of them is really disrepectful at times , she drives me to tears.

Its hard for single mums as they have no one to back up what they say , and it hurts when the childs bad cause you put so much effort into bringing them up properly. The way kids speak to the parents generally is quite bad these days , and they get away with it at school too
all parents have trouble raising daughters who are disrespectful, not just just single mothers.

Think back, did you listen when your mother gave you that advice? None of us did, and none of our grandkids will either, as much as everything changes some things just stay the same.
I just saw a sign at a gift shop yesterday that would be perfect for you to give your daughters...it said:

TEENAGERS are you tired of being hassled by unreasonable parents?

Now is the time for action! Leave home and start paying your own way...while you still know everything!
I know how they feel. It's like, the whole world is coming down on you, and trying to keep you a baby forever. You are right that they need to enjoy being a child. My eleven year old sister HATES to be called a kid...but she doesn't understand how cruel the world is to adults. They have to work their butts off, and deal with major stress...especially single Moms. Some married people have trouble raising teens too. What you need to do, is to set some boundries for them. If they are disrespectful, GROUND them...take away their cell phones, tv time..etc. Start treating them like babies, because they should know that being disrespectful IS babish. They deserve it, and YOU don't deserve being disrespected. If I were your child, I'd respect you in every way - you know why? Because your trying to feed, clothe, and keep a roof over my head.
I think it is because when a child is raised by a single parent, they are somewhat forced to grow up sooner. Not being sexually active or drinking or anything, but they must mature a slight bit faster. There is only one income so they must get over the fact that they can't have this or they can't have that. I matured rather fast. But in my situation, I had to.

    Hope this helps you!

The Twilight series is good for a teenage girl, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I would recommend any Sarah Dessen book. Truth About Forever, Dreamland, Just Listen, and This Lullaby.

Nicholas Sparks books aren't for YAs, but they are very good. Dear John is really good.

Meg Cabot's books are pretty good. Teen Idol and Avalon High. What are the best books for a teenage girl?

Twilight is good in a modern sense, but for me, I would recommend classic literature for reading. It would make a bit of future for you also, as well as provide great enjoyment that has been enchanting readers through years and ages (in the process of becoming immortal classics).

    The top three are:

    Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte

    Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte

Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen

All great in terms of romance too.

    Jane Eyre -- Charlotte Bronte

The Phantom of the Opera -- Gastom Leroux

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn -- Betty Smith

    Rebecca -- Daphne du Maurier

The Kite Runner -- Khaled Hosseini

Gemma Doyle Trilogy -- Libba Bray

I did not mention Twilight because, though it is popular among teenage girls, it has neither literary merit nor themes and morals.
Not Potter, not Twilight. Start reading anything at all that is not aimed at teen aged girls, read books meant for people. Try Catcher in the Rye, Lord of the Flies, anything by Twain, P.G. WOdehouse, science fiction, but not Potter, Twilight, Left Behind...

Or do you intend to be silly teen aged little girl all your life?
um.. maybe the twilight series, the ';clique'; series, i forgot the names of the series but if you look at the teen section in ur library you'll find some like ';notorious'; thats just a book in the series. Another one is the ';It Girl'; series and ';Gossip Girl';.
I read all the time, so my current favorites are:

    Ophelia

Sunshine by Robin McKinley (for after you read twilight!)

    Twilight

    The Adoration of Jenna Fox

Just ask for more if you'd like! It also depends on age...(Sunshine may not be appropriate)
OMG TWILIGHT!!!!!! i loved the twilight books...all four of them are amazing! also....the clique books are good.....i loved the book ';Once upon a marigold'; too.....if u meant what genre of book...i like fiction.
The Shopaholic books by Sophie Kinsella

The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath

    Anything by Jane Austen

    Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli

    Girl, Interrupted by Susanna Kaysen
try Jude....13 reasons why....CUt, theres a series to this author of that book...have you tried the Giver? oh yeah not alot of people like to kill a mocking bird but its good once you understnad the plot...mm..Ink spell...go to barns and nobles.com they have good selections there
hmm well im a teenager too so i'll try to help. my friends liked the twilight series. i like the authors meg cabot, cladia gabel, kieran scott, and piper banks.
I'd have to say Maximum Ride, Uglies (sequels: Pretties, Specials, Extras), Peeps*, and of course Twilight

*My favorite out of the four
well it would help me if you told us what you like to read

but here if your a girly girl try

    gossip girl

sister hood of the traveling pants

    the clique

    etc

    if you like fantasy

    try

    harry potter etc

    hope this helps

Do you like that video when a teenage guy gives a cellphone to his dad and it shocked him?

never seen it got a linkDo you like that video when a teenage guy gives a cellphone to his dad and it shocked him?
    Err .

    Okay

My teenage daughter has had rough, red skin on her cheeks for a few years. Not roseola. Any other ideas?

She has nice skin otherwise, not much acne. It isn't painful or inflamed, doesn't spread like a rash, just rougher than her other skin and more red. Not bright red like she's embarrassed. I'd rather look a condition up and research on my own, and then go to a dermatologist if necessary. You know, fun insurance games and all that...My teenage daughter has had rough, red skin on her cheeks for a few years. Not roseola. Any other ideas?
I think you should see a professional before trying any treatments of your own, just to be on the safe side.My teenage daughter has had rough, red skin on her cheeks for a few years. Not roseola. Any other ideas?
My 15 year old sister had that until this last year! I am a Mary Kay consultant and we had her try the ultimate miracle set which includes the microdermabrassion at home treatments. It is MUCH cheaper then going to the dermatologist and is backed by a patent and 100% gaurantee! Her skin has cleared up and looks so great, especially where it was on her lower cheaks!
how old? sound like she could be rubbing her skin on something to make it like that. or maybe the soap is doing it. or maybe it sun burn. put some lotion on it. it will probally fix it. if lotion dont work then try antibacterial and try to make sure she dont rub her face or get sun burn or maybe change the soap.
It could be something she's putting on her face that she's allergic to. Try everything for her face for sensitive skin and see what happens.
it could be a little eczema..try Na-PCA spray (found at any health food store) also could be psoriasis or contact dermatitis all of these can result from skin sensitivity to soaps and cosmetics- but try the Na-PCA moisturizing spray
Totally know what you mean. I'm not sure how it's spelled, but Escama?

It sounds like it might be that, but I'm not positive.
I think she has dry skin, let her use a moisturizer.
    justbtell her to moisturize

My teenage daughter has some crooked teeth can she get veneers instead of braces?

I would highly recommend getting braces instead of veneers. For veneers they need to drill away some of the tooth or else the teeth will look bulky. Also, I'm not sure if your daughter has had her wisdom teeth out yet or not, but sometimes they can cause the teeth to move/crowd. So if she's around 13 or 14 or so and you get these veneers, there's a chance when her wisdom teeth start to come out or try to come out (a lot of the time they end up impacted) they can push her front teeth together as well, which will actually end up messing up these veneers you spent all the money on.

Another thing is if you get veneers to make the teeth ';appear'; straight, they still won't be on the insides of the teeth, and that causes problems for catching food and for brushing and for flossing, which leads to it being a lot easier to get cavities or gum problems or bone loss and stuff.

I'm not sure how crowded the teeth are either... but if they're very crowded and rotated and it doesn't seem like there's much space for anything then the veneers will just add bulk to the teeth and not help with problems in the future.

I think I repeated myself a few times, sorry. Hope it makes sense though and you get my point. My teenage daughter has some crooked teeth can she get veneers instead of braces?
Only your dentist can answer that question. If she has any kind of an overbite she will need braces. When your daughter has her next 6 month cleaning/checkup as the dentist about all of this.My teenage daughter has some crooked teeth can she get veneers instead of braces?
That would be up to her orthodontist. If she is eligible, consider the cost. It is expensive, and veneers must be replaced about every 15 years. They also grind down healthy tooth structure to install them. Teenage years are perfect for having braces. It's totally accepted in society and nothing to be ashamed of. Not to mention, they will have permanent results for much less.

Does teenage pregnancy cause a higher risk of prematurity?

teenage pregnancy is a result of immaturity!Does teenage pregnancy cause a higher risk of prematurity?
Not at all. Actually, like a pervious person ssaid, teens are at one of the lowest risks (provided they are healthy). think back in history and the evolution of women. For a LONG time it was normal and expected that 13/14/15/16 year olds would have kids, and lots of them because people rarely survived past 30-35. That is how a woman's body is built...which is why teens are also the most fertile. Of course now a days society has changed and teens are not expected to get pregnant. They are expected to wait until their 20's/30's. But a woman's body is still built to be a mother in their teens. That doesn't mean I think any teenager should become a mom but it happens, and prematurity is usually not a high risk.Does teenage pregnancy cause a higher risk of prematurity?
no, but teenage crack smoking does. Actually, and in all seriousness, teenagers are more likely to have a healthy pregnancy than an older woman.. That is the way nature/evolution intended it. So i guess you could say that is all they are good for.
I think it depends on the age and how mature her body is.(and any complications) A 14 yr old's body is not ready for a baby yet, where a 17 yr old's might be. I have plenty of friends that gave birth at 16, 17 and 18 and all but one had a normal birth. One had 2 pregnancies with both kids born at 7 months.

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>
the answer is sadly yes but rarely i was a teenager i was 16 and i had a healthy baby don't worry long as you take prenatal and eat healthy and keep going in for your check ups and good luck to you
actually, its totally the opposite. The absolute most healthy birth and post-partum outcomes are in women ages 17-19.

    wild.
statistics say yes however I had my 1st child at age 16. Everyone knew I was going to deliver wayyy early due to my age and small body size. I surprised them, I had to be induced at 41 weeks.
I dont think it does.. i had a lot of friends pregnant really young and their babies were all fine.

sorry for the long question but if I talk to a girl about sports non-stop for like 10mins. would she use that excuse to say no to me for a date?

She said she likes a bit of sports and supports her home town.

Thanks alotDo teenage girls like to talk about anything that men are usually interested in?
As long as you don't bore her to tears with your 10 minute talk about sports I mean ask her what she really likes and then find some common ground, but generally girls aren't big sports fanatics.Do teenage girls like to talk about anything that men are usually interested in?
    Sex!

Just have a look at the back of our local Spar shop

I need things to do on the weekends. I'm a fifteen year old teenage girl who loves sport, dancing and music

Please give me things from eating healthiliy, to exercising (important). I would really like to get into shape, I've always been a fit tennis player, but I've layed off a bit and fat is starting tro accumulate on my tummy and thighs. Please, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also I'm not allowed out much so I would greatly value anyone with ideas of things for teenage girls to do for fun. Whether it's beauty related or arty farty or anything. Please, I'll die of boredom otherwise.I need things to do on the weekends. I'm a fifteen year old teenage girl who loves sport, dancing and music
Give out a party and invite all your friends there. Make sure you tell them that they have to dance to your kind of music and willingly to have veggies tray for snack with water.I need things to do on the weekends. I'm a fifteen year old teenage girl who loves sport, dancing and music
i was going through the same thing but i found out my friends are having the same prob. me and my friends go biking on trails in our area and the trails lead to restruants and shopping areas. you will have fun and not notice exercise shop and eat! it sux that your mom wont let you out explain that your older now and you will carry around a cell phone. check out local trails it is sooooooo much fun!
If you love all of these things, why are you bored? It doesn't sound like you need activities, it sounds like you need friends your age who do what you do. It would be positive peer pressure.
i play tennis n im 15 too but ne ways u shud start playing tennis often n get a bit of running or jogging in the morning n also if u like dance then get some areobic dance workout or somtin....n it sounds like u need ppl to do it wit u u hav plenty of thing to do u;ll find some ppl
Since you like sports - do athletic stuff. Shoot baskets, grab a friend, parent, sibling for a game of tennis, go for a run, roller blade, bike ride, swim, even get some girls together, play some music and dance. Anything that gets your heart pumping can be considered cardio exercise - even house/yard work.

As far as eating healthy - eat well-balanced meals with all the vitamins you need. Stop snacking when you are eating just because you feel like eating something. Eat only until you are satisfied, if you get hungry in an hour or two, have a small snack. Dont forget the water.

What do people really think about single teenage mothers?

well i think the older generation kind of looks down on them. one time i was with my dad to go drop something off for my brother at a birthday party when the mom of the kid whose birthday it was was like kind of looking at me really awkward and i go to school with her daughter!! so i turned to her and i said , so how's Savannah? and she goes i'm sorry i know you. i told her yeah i go to school with your daughter and she goes oh it's Sarah right? and i was all like yeah and then she said, o i thought you were Jacob's mom. i was like uh no. but the whole time she hought i was a teen mom and she was giving me really weird looks. so i honestly believe that people look down on the teenager mothers of today. What do people really think about single teenage mothers?
Most people look at them at think 'how irresponsable' I appreciate that they are trying though.

Your friend should do the following as a start:

    1. Make sure to get plenty of exercise. It can be difficult to get into the swing of things, especially if she is out of shape or seriously de-conditioned, but it鈥檚 important.

    2. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. One tip is to pick your fruits and vegetables according to the rainbow colors. Eat non-starchy vegetables such as spinach, carrots, broccoli and green beans with your meals.

    3. Eat low-fat dairy like skim milk and non-fat yogurt. Drink water and calorie-free beverages instead of regular soda, fruit punch and sweat tea.Obese teenage friend at risk of type 2 diabetes?

Does teenage impurities go away as u grow ?

im 15 have a few spots only on my head, some SMALL TINY red patches around my nose and chin,, and apparantly i have a LITTLE flaky skin problem on the sides of my nose. all im using is moisturiser.

so as i get older will these go ?Does teenage impurities go away as u grow ?
Hi Trendy, Yes you will most likely grow out of it and be more lovely then every so don't lose any sleep and enjoy you young life and stop worrying all the time .Does teenage impurities go away as u grow ?
ha ha. You're a lucky one.

Yes, when you're past the teeage years they should go. Try using facewash and moisturiser every day and an exfoliator every now and again.

If the spots get worse or really start getting you down you could always try antibiotics for them. Everyone gets spots sometimes and I cant promise you that you wont get a few even when you're much older.
spots %26amp; stuff are all part of puberty.. all teenagers get them. infact some adults still have them (put its not cos of puberty lol)

for now they're probably gonna stay, but the best you can do is wash your face on a daily basis and use a gentle face scrub which will help clear your pores %26amp; get rid of your spots, scrub away and dead flaky skin and make your face look clearer :)

as for the red patches.. it could be a minor heat rash (if you live somewhere warm) or maybe unhealthy eating or some kind of reaction to a product.. clean your face regularily %26amp; it should be ok in a few days.

but after doing all of this.. dont forget to mosturise properly!!!!

no point in having flawless skin if its dry..
Quite likely. Also, if you pay close attention to what and how you wash you may be able to limit them.

Not to alarm you, but there is still time for it to get worse before getting better. Just stick to good hygiene and diet and your 'impurities' wont be a problem.
might want to try exfoliating for smoother skin.

But typically yes blemishes do diminish as you get older.
Everyone seems to look better when they grow up.
Yeah, I'm sure these impurities will fade off as time goes by
Dont worry about it too much. It'll all go away when you grow up!!
    U LOOK FINE... :)
    A. You need to do some scrubbing/exfoliating. There are some daily scrubs, and there are exfoliating products designed to be used once a week, I personally prefer scrubs. What that does is clean your skin and remove the dead skin cells accumulating and causing the flaking.

    B. The nose and chin areas are typically the most oily areas in your face, if you have greasy or mixed skin. Regardless of which skin type you have, you need to use a good oil-free cleanser to wash your face. Use that regularly, it will unclog pores and remove the excess of oil that causes those red spots. Those spots have potential to develop into pimples if the clogging persists.

    C. Moisturizing is only fine if your skin is dry, or if you have properly cleansed your skin otherwise. If you moisturize your skin without properly cleaning it, you're introducing other elements to the natural oils your skin is producing, which might cause the clogging to worsen depending on what you use. Oil-free moisturizers are the best for such problems.

    D. You need to realize that while some skin problems related to teenage -do- cease upon reaching adulthood. But you also need to realize that skin does not maintain itself at all. You need to always use a way to remove dead skin from your face, cleanse it properly, and moisturize it.

Here are some tips, and those are things I learned back when I was a teenager and still persist to use because they work for me:

Go to a drugstore, and pick these three things. A scrub, a cleanser and a moisturizer designed for eliminating blackheads and preventing breakouts and the lot. Those are generally the best to clean up clogged pores causing all sorts of possible spots. (Black heads, white heads, downright zits or just red spots are all dependent on your skin, but they can be cured all the same). I personally prefer clean%26amp;clear, as it was my holy grail back in teenage.

If you cannot afford those, there are also plenty of good home substitutes:

For a scrub, grab two tablets of asprin and drop a couple of drops of water on each one of them. Let them sit for a couple of minutes then crush them in your hand and spread all over your face. Do not rub just yet, but let it sit instead. If you find that its consistency is too slippery or watery or that it's just not sticking to your skin, add a spoon of honey. It also works nicely for your skin. 5 minutes later, rub gently to exfoliate your skin, then rinse thoroughly.

For a cleanser, well...lukewarm water and soap is the best I can recommend for a home substitute.

Go about moisturizing as usual, though it is preferable that you obtain an oil-free product.

Mothers, if your husband/partner slapped your teenage daughter in front of you, how would you react?

if she was arguing with her father about something, and he backhanded her right in front of you? would you reprimand him, leave him, or just pretend that it didn't happen? why would a mother not respond to this?Mothers, if your husband/partner slapped your teenage daughter in front of you, how would you react?
It would never happen, as I would never associate or breed with a man who used violence.

I would defend my daughter against him and order him out, and think long and hard about what steps to take next. I would also know that something was really wrong with him for him to have done that, and try to get him help. If he did it a second time, he'd be out of our lives.Mothers, if your husband/partner slapped your teenage daughter in front of you, how would you react?
Hopefully I would have the sense to step in before it got escalated to the point of violence. Arguments are going to happen with teenagers but we can't lose our tempers and resort to violence when it happens.

I agree with Tracey in that I wouldn't be with a man who had such a temper to begin with. It's one thing to spank a child although I think there are better ways to discipline them. It's quite another to backhand her across the face and a teen aged child is beyond the spanking age anyway.

I also agree with those who say children should be raised to speak respectfully to their parents but we all know that teenagers are going to push the limits. That is normal and expected. By slapping her you are teaching her what to do if someone pisses you off. Nice lesson.

In that situation I would separate them and send her to her room while her father and I had it out. I doubt if I would throw him out but I would make it clear that if he ever put his hands on her like that again he would have to leave. I would then talk to my daughter and make it clear to her that although I won't put up with him abusing her I also won't put up with her disrespecting him like that. Then I'd probably make an appointment with a family therapist for all of us.
We don't slap, ever. However I also do not disrespect by husband by disagreeing with him in front of the children. If by some off chance he was pushed past this limit, it would be discussed between us privately. On the other hand, a good spanking is never off limits. Oh and my children are not allowed to argue with their parents, discuss yes, argue no. There is this thing called respect that is highly prized in our home.
He is the father, she pushed the buttons, I don't think he or she, will need my help.

Why taking authority from her father when he agrees not to do that to me either? I was slapped many times as a teen and here I am, still loving my parents, graduated from College and no, a parent should remain just that, an educator NOT a Psychologist.
This is exactly what is wrong with our youth of today. They have no respect for their parents, themselves, and so of course not others. Why can't a man slap his daughter if she is being disrespectful? You can talk until you are blue in the face but sometimes a good slap is can bring a yung'un around.

The courts rule that parents can't spank children. Then the courts turn around and say that parents must pay the fine for teenagers who break the law. When the spoiled belligerant brat gets their dumb azz locked up then they get the sh!t kicked out of them while they are in jail anyway.

Maybe a good ole fashioned spanking or slap in the face isn't as bad as some make it out to be after all!
    There's a difference between a slap and a backhand.

Backhand is much more likely to leave bruises.

A slap across the face is not something I would condone, but everyone has a breaking point and obviously she got him to his.

    A backhand is abuse.
It depends on what they were arguing about. If she was being a spoiled brat about something then maybe she deserved it.....but if he just slapped her for no good reason then I would definatley step in and defend her.
I'd think she shouldn't have been arguing with her father. I'd rather a kid get put in her place than end up pregnant or in juvenile because that's what happens when you let your kids walk all over you.
    Tracey, Tracey, Tracey...

    You're nuts.
slapping someone, girl or boy, is never a way to solve anything. no matter if she deserved it.
No. She shouldn't be arguing with her father.

    Don't argue with your elders.

  • What's a good tip for a teenage babysitter who works for $5 hour?

After 4 hours of babysitting ($20), should I tip another $5 or $10?What's a good tip for a teenage babysitter who works for $5 hour?
a five sounds good to me, a trip to the movies with soda and popcorn for watching a kid!!What's a good tip for a teenage babysitter who works for $5 hour?
If you know the babysitter (child of a friend for example) its probably a good idea to tip him/her 10$. If you think they've done a good job (if your house is in the same state you left it in, if your kids are happy, if the babysitter is kind/polite) then it's probably a good idea to give him/her 10$ as a reward for a job well done, seeing as they're only working for 5$ an hour.
Babysitters usually don't get tips, but if it's someone I have used on the regular and they do a good job with my child, I'd slip an extra ten to them every once in a while.

If it was just a one time thing with this sitter I wouldn't tip unless I had asked them last minute or unless I knew my child was very difficult. Then I'd slip the sitter and extra hour as a tip ($5).
It may or may not based on the situation; talk to your babysitter about it. Is she giving up something important? Is there too much pressure on her? What do her parents feel about the fee? By finding out the situation, you have the choice of giving her an extra 5 or 10 bucks.
5 dollars an hour isnt very good pay. I went to a babysitting course and it said the lowest is to get paid $4.75 and the highest $9.75 or something like that. I would give her a LARGE tip if she works for only $5 because shes working very low.
Depends how many kids he or she is watching.

5 dollars seems like a low rate to me, but I suppose it might just be because I am used to watching 4 or 5 kids at a time.

I'd say about 5 dollars if it's only one or two kids. 10 dollars if it's more.
Wow you're lucky...she's selling herself short. For any services always tip at least 20%, though if your child is difficult or if you're gone for longer than 5 hours tip extra, it will kepp her saying yes to when you need her..again I'm shocked...$5 an hour? Keep her lol
You don't tip babysitters... just pay a decent hourly wage. I think I got $5 an hour 15 years ago, is that really the going rate still? If you are thinking of tipping another $5 or $10 why not just bump the hourly rate up a dollar?
    Here's a tip: Don't eat yellow snow.

I don't think it's necessary to tip, but if you want to, then any amount I am sure would be appreciated, especially if they do a good job.
Of course, 5 dollars is very cheap for a babysitter. A babysitter needs to be paid at least 10-15 dollars an hour plus the money for the food should be included in the pay!
You don't have to tip. I would tip another $5 if the house has been straightened up, she cleaned the dishes after dinner, or has been dealing with a sick child.
If they did an outstanding job, another $5 or 10 would be nice! I'd say $5 if they are going to babysit on a regular basis. $10 if this is a rare (once a month or less) event.
$5 is good, but if you want to be her favorite customer I would say 10, plus it depends on how well you think your children behaved, or how well she did as a babysitter.
Buddy gives good advice and good tips he would say $10!

    Check him out!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OksB3BiAV鈥?/a>

    These girls are hilarious!
Yes. Thats always very pleasing and makes them want to come back and watch the kids again. Works for me anyways.
if she/he did good and the kids had fun give her $10 if the kids didn't mention anything, give her $3 or $5 if the kids hated her, give her a punch in the face lolz :) jk
    $2.50 an hour.

that's half the money they would have earned on the regular schedual.

(only tip them if thye did a good job)
    5 dollars shed be happy

10 dollars she would be grateful

    haha
I'd say $5 since it's equal to one hours pay or 10 to 20% which would be 2 to $4.
Tip: ';Find a better job!'; I know people that work for families that are NOT loaded and they rake in $12/hour.

    PERK IT UP!
It all depends on what your kids think of her or him and if the babysitter said the kids were good or not.
Yes! $5 per hour is a very low rate. You want to keep her coming back and babysitting for you.
$5 an hour is very low! It really depends on how many kids you are sitting. It should be $5 an hour per kid, at least.
Only tip $5, and only if she did a great job or did something extra.
number ones right - no tip needed, however if you want to....i would say $5
    10 bucks.
    A tip is always nice
Nobody tips babysitters. Where did you get such an idea?
    How about a mushroom tip?
Babysitters don't need tips. There is no easier job.
    5 or 10

How to have a good relationship for teenage girl?

i just want tips on how to have a good relationship. i also want to know what to do about this... he asked me to do something im not comfortable with, and when i say that he accuses me of being selfcentered. i want to make him happy, but im scared to do that. and i feel horrible. what do i do?How to have a good relationship for teenage girl?
Don't let him pressure you into doing anything that you aren't comfortable with, that you know is wrong, or that you will regret later. He's being self-centeredHow to have a good relationship for teenage girl?
First off, you're a teenage girl... So any relationship you have till you're about 19 is gunna be drama and tears, or when you are matured enough to realize that teenage dating should be about fun and about learning what things you like/dislike in a guy instead of trying to find ';love'; when you're going to change into a very different person over the next couple years...

But anyway, obviously your boyfriend doesn't respect you enough to put your comfort before his selfish wants, and therefore, you should dumb him. Any guy that tries to pressure you into sleeping with him and tells you your self-centered when you're not is a prick.

Honestly, the best advice (discount ALL advice from other people in high school who have no REAL clue what they're talking about) is to just date and have fun. Don't try and find your husband or your one true love, use this time to figure out what kind of a person you're looking for. Just go on dates, maybe have a couple boyfriends so you can find out what you like and dislike...

For example, you've just learned that you do NOT want a boyfriend who pressures you, so when you have your next relationship, you can look for a guy who WON'T or can recognize it when it starts.
If you as me I don't anyone is ready for a relationship during their teenage years. I honestly didn't know how to have a relationship when I was a teen. I believe the best thing to do is not allowing your partner to pressure you into sex or anything you don't want to do. If your partner cannot respect that you are not ready to have sex or do whatever it they may want you to do, they really don't love you.
As a teenager, the only people you want to keep happy is your parents and yourself. You have no obligation to keep anyone else happy. You let your boyfriend know that you are not in the habit of doing things that make you feel uncomfortable. And if he has a problem with that, then he needs to chillax!!

If you are talking about what I think you are, don't feel horrible because he is not being considerate of your feelings.
ok from what i know to have a good relationship is dont have sex right away(idk if you do or not, just saying), dont text or call them to much, idk what else, those are just some things i learned from friends. oh, and if he wants you to do something your not comfortable with then dont do it, if hes right for you he'll respect that, if not move on. Dont waste your time on someone who doesnt respect you or care what you say and think. well i hope this helps some =)
If he's asking you to do something you're not comfortable with, then he doesn't respect/care for you.

Drop him. If he can't accept that you have your own personal beliefs and morals, he's an immature guy who's not worthy of you.

That being said, you're a teenager. You should be focusing on school and who you are, not guys. You have your whole life for guys. Guys at this age are interested in one thing, and one thing only.
First be your self and if he doesn't except that then maybe you guys are not meant to be...not trying to sound negative. And with the thin about you not being comfortable DONT FEEL BAD you have the right to say no so when your ready then go for it but until then dont get pressured into something you dont wnt to do because i feel in the end you might just regret
uh honey remeber one thing: You are your first priority and to help this you might wanna do what makes you happy not him. Him might need to realize that you arent comfortable and be like hey boi if you wanna be my bo then respect the fact i dont want to do that. be unfront because then you will be the one in the end hurtin. believe me

    ps. im not black ;)
If making him happy makes you miserable or frightened then don't try to make him happy. Any person who will belittle you if you won't do things for them isn't worth much. He sounds too pushy to me. Tell him to back off or you'll have to reconsider your relationship.
thats their favorite excuse...BLAMING YOU. when in reality its them being self centered. everyone told me i would regret losing my virginity or doing oral sex and i didnt listen and guess what? i wish that I was as pure as the virgin mary because then I could have shared everything I have with my fiance but I can never do that because i cant go back in time. Keep being pure.
find a guy that makes u comfortable, he will show u what a good relationship is, find a mature guy, but one that is your age.

not to be mean but if i can guss what he ask he's the one being selfash not you

if he was get for you he would respect you

and you sound to nice to be with him!!

    sorry
Simply don't do anything that you don't feel comfortable with! He's not worth it if he makes you feel bad.
dump him, he wants to do something u dont want, u tell him he still insists. he does no know u, and does not seem to care about what u want.
if he presures u dump him

but if u really love him, share how you feel about the hole situation
What does he want you to do?

What should a mother do if her teenage son barges in on her while she is in bathroom?

Teach him some manners!!What should a mother do if her teenage son barges in on her while she is in bathroom?
Keep the door locked. If he breaks the door down, then he needs serious help.
explain to him that hes not a baby anymore and that you need your privacy lock the door
lock the door!!!!!!!!!! what kinda question is this?????
err... that's what i was gonna say
Try locking the door! Farting is always fair game if yuo are on the comode! Maybe you need to have a talk about boundaries?

Eat more peanut butter but NOT in the bathroom!
Get a lock--and have a talk with him about privacy.
lock the door..and tell him to atleast knock first be4 barging in..
remind him to knock before coming in--make sure there is not an emergency (i.e. fire, burglars, repeats of Dr. 90210, etc) and then ask for the air freshner.

Im sure your son did not do this for any reason in particular so dont call the threapist yet.

just talk to him about your privacy.
ask him for privacy.. that's what I've done when that happend to me. only it was my brother, not my son.
depends on what he saw and how mature he is. A teenage son probably is not seeing anything new...its just gross because its his mom. It was an accident, so try to stay cool about it if possible. Don't be upset with him cause youre embarassed though. Don't make a big deal out of it either.
Just politely tell him not to do it again and he should apologize for it, if it were your son just dismiss it after that it was just by accident if it has happened more than once maybe he needs counseling
    Lock the door!!!!!!!
Be like, hey knock on the door or next time you barge in like that i will

knock on your face, and dont you have a lock to prevent this sort of thing
Don't make a big deal of it, like embarassing him or yourself. But be very firm in letting him know, that a closed door means knock, not barge in. He has to learn to respect privacy.

well there's that ad on rte (in ireland, if you don't know what rte is) that i'm totally gonna scam off - a third of 16 year olds regularly binge drink. or drink regularly. i can't remember the exact wording. anyway, yeah so that's one from ireland...

My teenage daughter is sensitive. How can I help her make friendhips ?

My teen daughter is very sensitive. She is lacking confidence and she finds difficulty to make friendship. How can I help her? thanxMy teenage daughter is sensitive. How can I help her make friendhips ?
Well, first I wouldn't let her think she is ';lacking'; anything. I think a lot of young people go through stages of developing who they are and confidence is one of those areas.

If she has a particular interest in something, i.e., music, swimming, horses, skating, art, etc., you get the idea; help her get hooked up with a group with like minded interest. Don't make it a point that you are doing this for anything, excepting to add some fun stuff to her summer.

She will be able to take baby steps and learning how to be comfortable in her own skin; but you shouldn't pigeon hole her and make her feel ';less than';...

Good luck, she'll be fine as soon as she discovers she has wings and they can take her anywhere she desires. My teenage daughter is sensitive. How can I help her make friendhips ?
she's got to do it herself
You can't, she has to do this for herself. If she has an interest like sports or dancing, encourage her in that activity. The better she is, the more confidence will start to build. In that activity, she will also be able to build friendships with others that have this same interest. Being a teenager is never easy. The only thing you can do is talk with her, even though she will say that you don't know her and don't understand her. She may need to get through this alone, but just be there for her if she needs you. Good luck!
something she has to go through in order to find herself.
maybe she has low self esteem. Take her out on mini makeover. Take her to get her hair done. Maybe cut if layers and a few highlights.... get her a few cool outfits and some new shoes to go... maybe even to spray tan..at the nearest tanning salon. Although its definitly not all about looks.. a girl needs a little pick me up sometimes...and this will make her feel so much better. This does not have to be expensive ...save a little money and call around places and find something in your budget.. While you 2 are out doing this.. she will think its all about the shopping and stuff ..so it will get her attention.. but it will really be all about you and her spending the day together and having fun and bonding as women and mother/daughter...

    good luck..
that's her life... she would find a way. just stand beside her when ever she needs you.
You can't help her make friends, it's something she has to do on her own. You can talk to her and develope a close relationship to her though.
You need to find something that she likes like a sport or something. Get her confident through that. Like if she likes watching basketball then get her outside with you and help her play it. With that she'll learn how to be more confident with her throws, then you can get her to join local team and there she can learn teamwork and gain friends. It's going to take a while, but it's worth it.
    its normal
Encourage her to do things, and praise her when she takes risks.

Raise her self confidence, and with that, she will probably naturally make more friends.
I know with me when I was younger it was a self confidence thing. Give her little jobs to accomplish and when she gets them done praise her. Make sure that you put her down for nothing. I know kids make mistakes and do things we may not like but we as parents need to correct with out beating them down verbally. If a child hears enough from parents and relatives they will amount to nothing or they are no good at anything then they will start to believe it and act accordingly. I used to think I was not that smart intelligently. Found out I have a 122 IQ and went back to school at 51 getting all A's and B's Funny if I would of had the confidence when I was younger that I have now I would of finished college when I left high school and been retired by now. Unless you have been there you really do not know how much effect the wrongs words have on someone who is sensitive.
    She has to help herself.
She has to learn to do it on her own.

  • Would you have a problem with your teenage kids being friends with Atheists?

There is zero point in teaching your children to discriminate based on religion, might as well tell them that black people are all thieves, all italians are mobsters, and all the irish are drunks. It serves no point. In the end your child will choose what it is she or he believes in regardless of how you feel about it. So you are better off just comforting them if someone hurts them, and allowing them to broaden their minds.Would you have a problem with your teenage kids being friends with Atheists?
No. But, then, she is an atheist. Well, not an atheist, actually - she's a pastafarian :DWould you have a problem with your teenage kids being friends with Atheists?
well i am a teenage and a lot of my friends are athiests. but i believe in god, and they dont try and tell me to change. you wouldnt believe this but teens actually arent really under pressure anymore i mean i am not, i dont let anyone tell me what to do i make my own decisions and my athiest friends are okay with me believing god.
    Not at all.

If u are worried about them ';corrupting'; your daughter, ur daughter needs to be exposed to others' opinions and beliefs. u cannot shelter her. or else she won't learn about other people.

U can't shelter her ur whole life . that would only end up hurting her.

besides. it's not ur place to choose her friends for her, especially if u wud chose based on her friends' beliefs. She'll be friends with whoever she wants.

Diversity is part of life, u shouldn't stop her from explring the world or learning aobut others' beliefs.

That does NOT mean that she'll loose her faith at all.
No, no problem with atheists unless they were constantly preaching and trying to convert my kid.

Now if my kid wanted to hang out with cannibals, THAT would be an issue.
personaly i think ppl should not be judge by there belvies eveyr one belives different things........ i am atheists and most of my firends and chirtain and they never out me down and i think no one else should put any one donw
    Of course not.
I raised my children to be open minded so they will hopefully never show prejudice against someone. In my opinion I would be looking at your kids' friend's attitudes and behaviors rather than their religion or lack of one.
no that has nothing to do wit how i raised him
    no, of course not
    Not at all. It's important to introduce ';real world';

relationships/friendships, to a teenager. If anything it can be beneficial for your teenager to interact with someone of a different faith or religion.
I do not have children. I think whatever religion they have unless it is terrorism or voodoo or something I would not care, or lack of.
Im an 18 and an atheist.

I have friends who are religious and im not some ';demon child'; who tries to convert them into non-religious people. They have their own beliefs and I have mine and I fully respect that.
    No, I would prefer it
not at all, everybody has their own beliefs, it doesnt make them a bad person. religious people should never judge a person for not being religious and vice versa.
I would be very pleased to see that :)

and i'd also be worried if there wasn't at least one athiest (or ay other belief/religion) child around these days who questions the norm.
no, thats teaching your kids to discriminate based on religion
no, that's prejudging people for their beliefs.
of course not. do you have a problem with your child being friends with a catholic? what is the difference. there are many many religions in the world. why single out one? are you against hindu? muslim? baptist? just because some one does not believe in god, doesnt mean that they are a bad person or someone to fear or avoid. what if you didnt know what religion they were. i think there are bigger and badder things in the world to worry about than if someone is an atheist or not. how about your child hanging with someone that does drugs, or has sex with them? that i would worry about.
I think if Jessica or Nickie were their friends it might be a problem, but generally, atheists are people and can be just as nice as anyone else. I want my kids' friends to respect them and their beliefs and as long as they are willing to do so, then I would have no problem with it.
No. I don't agree with atheists' beliefs, but I'm not gonna object to my children being friends with them.
    not at all
TO EACH THEIR OWN.. I JUST HOPE THEY WOULDN'T PUSH THEIR BELIEFS ON MY KIDS... AS ANYONE W/ THEIR DIFFERENT RELIGION.
Only if my son/daughter started to lose her faith in the lord.
No I would not. Acceptance in today's society is key. We cannot dislike others who may have the same interests as us just because they do not have the same religious beliefs.
of course not. i would have a problem with my children hanging out with people who believe in an imaginary character and go to a building where they actually worship him. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Nope.
My child has a very strong faith. I would only have a problem with it if my daughter did.

Let me rephrase- If my daughter came home and said, ';mom, so and so said that my belief in God is wrong and that God does not exist and I do not like that.............'; If it made her uncomfortable and the child tried to sway her belief , yes I would have a problem with it. We do not push our faith on others and I would expect the same respect.
No but i might have a problem with my child hanging out with an extremist which most thiests seem to be these days, athiesm is the LOGICAL way to live
Yes if I thought that they tried to influence them.
Yes, atheists aren't that smart and I would not want my child to be influenced by people who lack intelligence and logic.

How do i get threw to my teenage son about school?

Being a teenage male, it usually means he has raging hormones. Get through to him that if he gets to college, there'll be many beautiful college ladies. Furthermore, women like men who are smart and rich. That means, you have to do well in school and get a degree before any women are attracted to you.

If that reasoning doesn't work out, then you're going to have to get more stern with your approach! How do i get threw to my teenage son about school?
I would start by praising him when he does something right. Right now, you see the negative and not the positive about your son. Talk to him in a casual manner instead of being authoritative. Example is when you are asking him how his day went. Instead of asking; ';How is school and how are you?'; Ask this way; ';Hey, how is school, how did it go today? Hope all is good and if not, I'm here.'; Not everyone can speak to their kids, but at least you are trying and you care. It's not that you can't get through to your son, it's your son that can't get through to you. Open up and make him feel comfortable talking to you. It's much easier if he can come to you whenever he needs you, than you keep trying. How do i get threw to my teenage son about school?
tell him not to be like you. tell him to learn proper grammer and the English language.
You must love your son very much. Good for you! I hope you get a lot of good ideas and input from other parents. Let your son know just how much you love and care about him. That if you didn't then you wouldn't care how he does in school.

Ask him what he doesn't like about school? Listen to what he has to say. This may give you some insight into how to show him how important school is. Are there any famous people (sports figures) he admires who completed high school and went to college? You could look them up on line and possibly find their views on education. Start a dialog with him. I know your first instinct is to yell, throttle him, but these tactics will only push him further from school, make him more resistant and stubborn.

Once you've listened to his side of the story. Then tell him yours. Have a discussion with him. See if the 2 of you can come up with some guidelines for him to follow regarding going to school and doing his homework. Perhaps the carrot and stick approach will work. If there's something major he wants, give him a goal to shoot for like bringing each of his grades up 5 points by the time he gets his next report card. Reward him with something he wants. Maybe not something big for this one. Then, if he can get his most of his grades up, say 10 points by the end of the school year he'll get a bigger reward.

Once the rules/guidelines are established, write them down and both of you sign them. Have realistic consequences if he breaks the contract. Be as consistent as possible. Tell him school is his job and the basis for much of the rest of his life.

It's definitely tougher being the parent of a teenager these days. There are more and more distractions for them. Even more than when my boys were growing up during the 1980s and '90s. I hope you and your son can come to terms.

    God Bless!
    Send him to Catholic school.

My teenage cat has a problem how can i stop it?

thank you My teenage cat has a problem how can i stop it?
It might be from weaning at an early age. You say you had him since 8 weeks but was he removed from his mother before then?. It is a comfort habit, like thumb-sucking. One cat I had many years ago used to suck on a sheepskin rug. She would knead it with her paws like a kitten on its mother. Maybe you can get your cat his own little sheepskin mat or even just a scrap piece from a factory. You could put him on it every time you catch him sucking something else and he might learn to choose it instead of the couch.

Maybe the dog likes it?? :)My teenage cat has a problem how can i stop it?
Why is it a problem and why would you want to stop it?

It's like a child sucking their thumb...it's calming and soothing to him.

I had a little female cat who liked to suckle the paw pads of my big strong macho Maine Coon cat. They were so cute. It was like he let her do it, because he knew it soothed her.

Life is hard. Leave him alone. Let him suckle if it makes him feel good.
I had a male teen cat that did this too. I have heard that this can occur when they have been separated too early from the mum. Maybe it's a comfort thing, not sure.

Don't use dye in any case .

Keep clean your hair , you can wash daily, don't use Shampoo Use some locally available herbal products .

Massage your head daily using some natural AMALA oil. Don't use coconut oil.

Go to Gym do some daily exercise .

    Take ample of water daily.

Take only good balanced food . Add vegetables / fruits and juice into your daily diet. Avoid junk foods .

By and by you will note that your hair start changing to blackish. Take some time.

How do I become closer to my teenage son,how is a little rebelious towards his younger brother who is 12?

I am currently not at hme with them, my mother is who playing my part. the way things are now i of to do what i of to do to make ends meetHow do I become closer to my teenage son,how is a little rebelious towards his younger brother who is 12?
I hope I am understanding your question: How do you become closer to your teenage son who is rebellious toward his younger brother. The fact that your sons are living with your mother is a good thing - please don't look at it as negative. Sometimes, parents have to step back in order to get their lives together. However, not having them live with you means that when you are not working, you should have them with you as often as possible. Plan outings and activities with them that are not costly. The park is always a place where families can throw frisbees, football, swim (if there is a pool), picnic. The Library is always free. Have them select books and you all sit and spend time reading together and discussing what you have read. Most libraries have a section where you can sit on the couch or floor. Rent movies that you all might enjoy. Play games (Scrabble, Monopoly, Cards, etc.)

There are many things that you can do to get closer to your sons. All the while, you, the parent, should be talking with them, sharing life stories and even mistakes that you might have made so that they don't make them. Get involved in their school activities and schoolwork. If they know you love them and want to be with them, I am sure the bullying your eldest son is displaying will subside.

My prayers are with you at this time. I know how difficult things can be. I might also suggest if you can, go back to school for yourself. Gain interest in a hobby or career that will bring more money into your home. While money is good and is necessary to live, the relationship you have with your sons is more important.

Observe teenage children going to school. How do they behave and how do the others react to them?

I think the name Jack Dunahue would be good. The jack gives it a mysterious name (I think Lord of the Flies) yet rebellious troublemaking Jack from titanic who someone can OBVIOUSLY learn to love (every girl likes her bad boy affect) then Dunahue to give an italian bad boy feeling. Hope that helps! What Would Be A Good Name For A Character Who Is A Rebellious, Troublemaking, Teenage Boy?
