I want to buy a unique yet cheap gift for a teenage girl who lives in another country. any suggestions?Whats a great gift for a teenage girl?
Does your country have a national gemstone or something of that kind whch is very typical to the location? Recently I travelled overseas and as a gift for my teen niece I purchased a lovely gemstone necklace and earring set in one country.





I got it in a colour I knew she would like and although it was not the most expensive thing I bought it was a big hit! She was pleased because it was from another country and also it was a bit different to the usual sort of thing, and she does wear it a lot.





I did take care not to get anything too 'weird' looking, just a plain round pendant on a leather string and round ear 'drops', which she can wear with many things. The young woman in the shop was able to advise me.





If you think jewellery is a bit too personal, you could try and find a bookmark or pen which is made from the same local stone.

Sweets are not bad (must be something little bit special, for ex. lollypop with message), small bags just for handy and keys, and a very beloved thing is lip-gloss if you make a good choice with color and flavour. Well, if you can get these gifts at good price you fill a small bag with sweets and some handy cosmetics and you surely become a VIP for her, supose the teenagers are not that different if they are from other countrys, maybe more important is what they have normally available.Wish you both to feel happy!
I would suggest jewelry. Turquoise or sterling silver make nice gifts, without being as expensive as semi-precious stones or the real thing. I suggest bracelets or earrings, because they will fit most people.
maybe you could burn a cd for her or something...but i guess it kind of depends on your relationship with the girl and why your buying her a gift.
