Buying a system for my teenage sons?

Now that all the games systems are out and you have tried them; which is better for 17-19 year old guys? WII or PS3 or what? I want the most challenging, cost effective system. They play everything from Zelda to GTA to Eternal Darkness.

Thanks for your help.Buying a system for my teenage sons?
X-Box 360 is by far the most popular game system out there. especially for 17-19 yr old boys. It has the widest selection of games, many of which are very much challenging, with all the complex controls and difficulty levels. all the guys i've dated are in love with 360 lol. the graphics are awesome. ask any Gamestop or Gamecrazy employee, they will reccommend a 360. trust me!Buying a system for my teenage sons?
Ps3 might be the most costly but it had blue ray, so you can get some HD dvd's. It has free miltiplayer and internet and for the 360 you gotta pay for it. Wii is more for children, the games are kinda kiddy. So I would recomend PS3, it can do many mor ethings than 360.. even if you tryed to upgrade your 360 to maby half as good as the ps3 you would over pay... get a ps3.
ps3.....just because its the best, no zelda tho
I don't like wii or ps3 get a 360 instead
Depends on what their friends like, really.

I have a Wii and love it like a child. It's far more engaging than an Xbox 360 or PS3.

If I had to chose one for your sons, I'd go with the Wii if you want cost-effective and a bit of a challenge.

Getting the best system available for $250.00 (about) and having a blast getting used to moving for controls is about as good of each as you can get, though.

Plus, the Wii has a bunch of killer games coming out during the Holidays, so you won't have to wonder about Christmas presents.
You answered your own question:) Look at the games they play and see if they are offered on a wii. Judging from those games they would be better off with a ps3.
You can never go wrong with a Nintendo product. PlayStation's are always crapping out. The wii i believe is the way to go
A 360 is probably the best choice.
