Here are some suggestions:

Tsubasa Chronicle is a pretty nice romance anime (if you like Chobits). It also has some comedy and fantasy, and as well as action and adventure. Beside, it's from CLAMPS too! ^_~

The anime rocks even more (in my opinion) because of nice musics!

Girl Got Game is also another good manga, but with a lot more comedy! (you will seriously laugh your head off) It's romance type, again, and only have 10 volumes, so you can finish it in like 3-5 days...

Enjoy!^^

Ouran High School Host Club

Naruto (Shippuden)

Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch

Bleach (if you're goth or goth-ish)

Tokyo MewMew

Cardcaptor Sakura

Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle

Fruit Basket

Cat's Eye (manga is different from anime, manga is better)

Pretear

But theres a difference between the anime and the manga:

In the anime Himeno met Hayate first.

In the anime Hayate was clearly in love with Himeno.

In the anime Sasame went on the Fenrir's side.

In the anime, Himeno became the White Pretear once.

In the manga, Himeno became the White Pretear twice.

In the manga, while Himeno was talking with Shin he grabbed her hand and she fainted. When she woke up, the knights were there to greet her and told her the story of the pretear.

In the manga, Sasame was in love with Himeno.

In the manga, Sasame was never on Takako's side.

In the manga, the evil one was Himeno's step-mother.

In the manga, Himeno's step-mother was very unkind to her all the time and was angered very easliy by the mention of Himeno's late mother.
Chobits is good for girls too, or so my gf says. She likes Hot Gimmick, Vampire Knight, Yurara, Millenium Snow, Ai Yori Aoshi. I like Pastel, Negima, Suzuka, Bleach and Love Hina. There are a bunch of good ones for anyone. My gf says im a little wierd since I like both manga that is meant for guys and manga for girls (no yaoi though, she likes that stuff). I like almost every type.
Full Moon wo Sagashite is the best manga/anime ever!

It is a very dramatic and romantic manga!

Read it here!

For shoujo romance, i'd recommend

1- hana yori dango: its a funny dramatic rich boys with attitude love poor girl with bigger attitude manga. It has 36 vol.

2- hana kimi is also good. About a girl disguising as a boy and joining an all boy school to meet with her idol, a high jumper. A funny and interesting story.

3- perfect girl evolution: it's not completed yet but very funny and interesting about girl who has lost her confidence in her feminity and so prefer horrorfiying things and has become scary herself. She has stay with 4 bishounen that is trying to change her into a lady to get free rent.
Try

Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers)
