Do you think having a VP who does not teach her teenage about safe sex is the right choice?

What does this show our daughters? if she can't handle her child, how could she handle being a VPDo you think having a VP who does not teach her teenage about safe sex is the right choice?
If you ask tough questions like this, your gonna get attacked by the Right wingers. I think it is a legit question, the republicans know that her selection as VP will cost them the election, and they are just defensive about this topic!Do you think having a VP who does not teach her teenage about safe sex is the right choice?
First how do you know she didn't do everything in her power to teach her kid the right things to do and not to do? I mean, maybe you are unfamilar with raising children but some kids do what they want anyway. That is why we have parenting because we all remember making stupid mistakes even though our parents told us not to. To keep a kid from doing anything you would have to basically lock them up and I am sure you would then be saying how she is a bad parent. Let's face it, you are trying to use this issue to make Palin look bad because you are afraid of her. She was a brilliant pick for VP. Maybe before you judge a book by it's cover you should try to be more open minded and actually learn a little about her politics, positions, and ideals before you toss her under the bus.
She sounds all American to me. Not cause of the propoganda you just puked. But because she's real. She's living life and things happen in her life like most Americans. She's a role model. She's a hero. And her daughter didn't murder an unborn child. Unlike you would have done I'm sure.
I had one kid who grad college, and one that just didn't want to hear anything. You get a kid sometimes who does not fly right no matter what, and it takes the school of hard knocks. She is now doing fine. But you can't judge the parents just because your lucky.
I don't know any teenage girls who really listen to their parents. They know everything already.
I'm more worried about her thinking that the Iraq War was a mandate from god.

Religious nutjob Muslims there vs Religious nutjob christians here, they are exactly the same if you ask me.
You obviously do not have teenagers.
There are far bigger issues at hand that cause her to be unfit for office.
NO!!!!!!!!

If Cena Became A Heel And Turned On The Kids And Teenage Girls Would You Start Liking Him?

I'm A Big Fan Of Cena But Everyone In Yahoo Answers Hates His Guts So Would You.If Cena Became A Heel And Turned On The Kids And Teenage Girls Would You Start Liking Him?
I would like John Cena regardless. The guy is pure talent and he alone has had WWE on his shoulders for the past few years. I would rather enjoy seeing John Cena as heel again because it would be refreshing but i still dont mind Cena as face as long as he actually has fresh heels to feud with and stays away from the title picture for awhile. Not that he isnt a good champion per say. But i believe alot of the hate will go down if John Cena starts helping push the younger wrestlers. Like hes helping Miz right now.If Cena Became A Heel And Turned On The Kids And Teenage Girls Would You Start Liking Him?
I don't hate any wrestler. I respect them all. I may not be a fan of them, but I don't hate them. As for Cena, he is ok. Don't love him or hate him. But I probably would love him as a heel. He was great as a heel raper. But now would be even better. He would turn on all of his fans and that would definitely cause some heat and tension. That would make great t.v., and bring more respect for Cena.
actually im starting to like cena again, i liked him originally when he was the rapper cena but when he changed up his gimmick and started wrestling the comeback way i started not to like him, but ever since i came to this section ive noticed that alot of these people take it way too far when bashing cena so im starting to defend him cuz alot of this criticism is not needed, plus ever since he went out of raws main event raw hasnt been as good so i also want him to come back to the title picture
very interesting question

because not every girl is going to like cena and I am of cena myself and I don't hate his gut
no.

he would have to get better at wrestling, and every now and then not be in the title picture

then i would like him.

but if he just turned heel

i wouldnt hate him as much
Cean sucks now. Cena has always sucked. Cena will always suck.
cena turning heel would be interesting

turning heel i think coould ONLY expand his moveset remmeber him back in 2004?
yes. id like to see the hip hop word life cena again that was the US champ
sure it would also help if he could wrestle
probably yeah
i dont care i will love him forever. people who hate him are jelouse! yea i went there!
hell ya i miss the old cena
No.

Im probably one of the few girlss in the world that will never like him no matter what he does.
i would
atleast more then how much i like him know lol

good try melissa, you know that was attached to a much larger bill and for you to not post that info along with your question shows an ignorance of the facts. the bigger question here is, why aren't ';any'; of the elected officials ';reading'; the bills. we have much bigger issues with things of this sort that need to be addressed and just for information, there is a bill right now concerning just that !!!!

You lose credibility when you act like ACORN did, in fact, fund teenage brothels, even though some of the offices were clearly WILLING to assist in funding teenage brothels.

Why do people insist on exaggerating when the truth is bad enough???
I would love to know more about these alleged teenage brothels that you seem to think ACORN operates. Do you have the address for one or more of them? Let's hear it!
Pelosi, Reid, Frank (he's the head of the committee) Boxer, Kennedy no whoops, Franken, Rangel, Baucus and Hoffa
I think Barney Frank voted for funding them until he found out they were talking about teenage GIRLS.............
i would like to know too. the news i saw said there were 7 that voted yes. their names should be made public. and for those who don't believe this happened, you are truely pathetic kool-ade drinkers
Why are you asking so silly a question?
And if the real thing don't do the trick, You better make up something quick.....

Is it ok for teenage boys to sleep till 1 pm? No food intake for 15 hours ok?

Should I wake them up at around 8 am for breakfast or is it better to allow them to sleep. They are growing rapidly but it worries me that they don't eat for so many hours each dayIs it ok for teenage boys to sleep till 1 pm? No food intake for 15 hours ok?
Let them sleep....the body has it's own clock and will wake your son when it needs food. Forced feeding will only lead to obesity. Make sure that he has food available. I mean, don't punish him by making him wait if he has slept through a meal. You might look into the possibility that he has ';night owl syndrome';. My son does and if I had known there was such a thing during his school years he probably would not have had to deal with the taunting from his teachers and classmates. If you are concerned about his health, maybe it is time for a trip to the doctor. Is it ok for teenage boys to sleep till 1 pm? No food intake for 15 hours ok?
Let them sleep - stop bugging them.
Yes wake them up. Why would a 15 year old be laying in bed until 1 PM? By skipping meals you are starving your body, when you do eat your body holds onto the fat. So you begin to gain weight. Three meals a day or 6 small meals a day is best.
LET HIM SLEEP HE WILL FIND THAT HIS BODY WILL TELL HIM WHEN HE NEEDS FOOD
You shouldn't have abused thier father. Now eat what you have made for yourself.
my bro sleeps in till the afternoon as well. i think best for their health is to get them to have breakfast. doesn't matter if they get grumpy, their health is more important and should be placed at top priority. you should probably explain to them why you're doing so-if they are pissed at you, which they probably will be. =)
im 19. im working. sometimes i dont eat the whole day, play some pc games, sleep at 4 am goes back to work at 10. im still alive.
Yes, according to recent research it is perfectly natural for teenage boys to sleep for very long periods. Of course it's not ok if your son goes to sleep in the middle of the night because then he's shifting his day, like a permanent jetlag. It was recently discovered that teenage brains don't really work untill the afternoon and that it would be better to let them start school around 1 pm, since they're more alert around that time. How much sleep a child needs also depends on the child. I got this information from the Dutch magazine ';Intermediair'; which is a business magazine for university students. Hope it helped.

Any good books about teenage/teacher relationships?

I'm 15 and I read love lessons by Jacqueline Wilson and i loved it! I was just wondering if there were any other books about pupil and teacher affairs for teenagers? (not like sex and stuff, just similar to love lessons)

Thanks in advance :DAny good books about teenage/teacher relationships?
';Prey'; by Lurlene McDaniel -- AMAZING

--MPAny good books about teenage/teacher relationships?
I think that The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie by Muriel Spark is a book that fits your description. I haven't read it myself, but i've been wanting to.
The Chocolate Way by Robert Cormier.

Only I don't think it's the type of teacher/student relationship that you're looking for. :P

How do police find teenage runaways?

What do they do?

how long do they look?

how much power goes into finding a single kid?.

where do they look?

do they keep looking in the same suspected areas?

.if they suspect a kid is in a certain place but have already looked there can they keep going back to look?

...i have a sociology paper and need any info on this....thanks : )How do police find teenage runaways?
I worked missing persons for 3 yrs and when I got a teen age runaway it all depended on their age and if they were repeat offenders..

The older they were, the less effort was put into it. Typically 99% of the cases were kids that ran away on a regular basis, usually over the weekend. We would put them in TCIC/NCIC and call their parents and get an idea of where they were. We would send an officer to the address to check it out. Usually they were back home in a couple days.

We don't physically look for some repeat offenders because past history has shown they come back by a certain day. We just have the parents call us to let us know when they are home. We then take them out of NCIC

We usually look at their best friends house or girlfriend/boyfriends house.

We only go back to the places if new information indicates they would be there. How do police find teenage runaways?
Or are you thinking of running away yourself?

1. They question everyone close to the child and get facts about close friends and relatives, things the chils enjoys doing, habits, description, anything that they can find out to give them an idea where to look.

2. I cannot tell you the exact amount of time they physically look, but the case never closes, and after awhile other organizations get involved like those pictures on milk cartons etc. But there are so many kids missing that the cops are overwhelmed. If it looks like a kidnapping, the FBI might get involved.

3. They look anywhere that the info they collect might lead them. (ie: if the child always wanted to be a star, the first place they might look is Hollywood)

4. Same as #3.

5. They may look in the same place many times if they think they missed something.

Hope this helps. Don't run away. If you are in trouble, seek help from the authorities, a teacher, a clergyman, or a family member that you feel safe with. I adore kids and it is a heart breaker when one goes missing.
As long as it does not start invading peoples privacy........

1.look at their recent pasts, phone if possible, meet ups and generaly their life

2.they look for as long they have evidence, if no trail appears within a month or so, it will go down to paper

3.depending on the kid and state of society and his past, and how much evidence is avaiable will all vary in this factor

4.yes they can keep going back as long as they do not cause problems or too much hassle or worry in the area.

My 15yr old son has rope light (red) at the ceiling. (where the ceiling and wall meet) and that gives it a cool looking mood effect.

Then we have the saucer type chairs in his room with storage box ottoman (foot rests).

    We got those at Walmart.

If you can locate a futon small enough to fit in your room, that is a great idea, because it can pull out to a bed.

I don't know what size your room is, but that is something great to have.

Throw pillows are a must. A large one for the floor would be great.

Have four speakers, one in each corner of the room.

Appropriate Dress for a Teenage Girl in Turkey?

Hi! I'm a seventeen year old girl from the U.S. who was lucky enough to get an internship to Ankara, Turkey! I'll be going during the summer, from June to August, and I'll be working in a scientific lab with many city excursions plus some excursions to outer-lying, remote villages which I'm guessing will be significantly more conservative. What sort of dress would be appropriate? Thanks in advance!Appropriate Dress for a Teenage Girl in Turkey?
Sarah- You are going there in summer so it will be quite warm in Ankara.

Do you have a pair of Jeans, nice capri pants, nice summer skirts take them with you. Also you need a few pairs of t-shirts and might need dress shirts and a pair of dress pants incase if you are invited to an event.

That's all you will need. Take a few pair of shorts to wear on the weekends.Appropriate Dress for a Teenage Girl in Turkey?
You can wear anything ( not including eastern region ) you wish in western cities (city centre). Also its OKAY to wear anything you wish along the seashores. But inner parts of Turkey are a little bit conversative its not something to hide. ( in rural areas ). Probably they wouldnt say something bad in any case but i think you wouldnt be happy with the villagers staring at you. So try not to wear mini shorts and skirts. Jeans are okay in any area including east and west. If you visit east, and they stare at you, dont worry they will probably just stare and say a few bitter sweet words. No harrasment!

But i think you will go to the villages around Ankara and yes they are conversative.
Here's something I found on it:

Here's a travel forum with 6 questions pertaining to it...you can click on each one.

    http://www.lonelyplanet.com/thorntree/se…
dress as in europe and when in rural areas dress as you might when visiting your grandma.
Just wear your jeans and a t-shirt when you go to remote villages

    lol@tsigani
Just dress what u dress in USA! i think you dont go to work with bikini! that would be the most absurd thing!

Do you think your teenage daughter would come and ask your advice before going on birth control?

No, she wont. Even if she thought that maybe she should..all her friends will be going there without telling their parents and she will probably go with them..and just do it because it is what everyone else is doing, so she thinks it is right. You have to tell her your advice, I don't think she will come to you. But that is in general..she could be different.Do you think your teenage daughter would come and ask your advice before going on birth control?
yes, they would. We have open lines of communication and we have had the talk about it . I honestly don't want to see it happen but as a parent you know it's going to happen sometime. Becoming an adult means acting like you got a little common sense too. I have already crossed one hurdle of my daughter wanting to have sex but she changed her mind because instead of freaking out( like I was on the inside). I went and spoke to a counselor and then together we talked to a counselor.Do you think your teenage daughter would come and ask your advice before going on birth control?
I never did that is for sure. But sex wasn't talked about in my home, ever!!
I hope that she asks her mom.

that would suck for me if she did.
well i'm 17, and wouldn't go to my mother for birth control, first i would be embaressed! and second I would be afraid she would give out and shout at me for even thinking about sex at my age!

My friends mother put her straight on the pill as soon as she turned 16.
    Depends on their age.
since the time i saw the video of a baby being born in school

    (12yo but obviously wasnt sexually active) my mom told me ';if you ever need birth control tell me, i wont judge or anything, and if u cant, planned parent hood is there and its free';

always let them know ull be there to talk about it

its better to be on it and not use it that preggers
I only have sons but harkening back to my teen years, no, I didn't and wouldn't have asked my mom, just went to Planned Parenthood with a friend.
If I had one I would hope she would come to me. I was unable to bring it up with my mom because she was such a b*tch about everything regarding sex. One time I had a bad UTI and I really wanted to get antibiotics because it was the worst one I'd ever had and I hadn't slept at all the night before because it hurt so much. She flipped out, accused me of having sex, or that it was all my fault because I occasionally wear thongs, then she went on a tirade about drugs, and for the big finale she accused me of being a lesbian. All because I had a UTI from a bubble bath I'd taken three nights before. You can understand why I would be unable to bring it up with my mother, even though every time I got my period I would vomit several times and pass out at least once. When I turned 18 I went to Planned Parenthood and got on the pill without my mother's knowledge, not because I wanted to have promiscuous sex, but because I wanted to be safe rather than sorry should I choose to have sex, and also because I wanted to be able to live through my monthly.
I would hope so. As long as you maintain a good relationship and she can trust you.
I hope she would. And at this point (she is almost 7), she is very good about telling me about EVERYTHING that is going on with her - even things I don't particularly think I ';need'; to know. I am trying to handle the TMI (too much information) properly now so that she won't feel awkward about it if she ever gets to the point that she does want birth control.

I never would have told my mom though. She blew things out of proportion by either making me feel ashamed for telling her or by calling up her sister and sharing my business.
i hope she will. she's only one right now, but i'm planning on having a open honest relationship. i'd rather her talk to me about it then go out and do it without being protected and getting pregnant or worse.
No I don't think so. When I was a teenager, I went in for my first exam (I was probably 18) and the doctor just gave me birth control. I wasn't even sexually active. I didn't become active until I was 21.

That being said, I didn't even want my mom to know the doctor did that because then perhaps she'd THINK I was sexually active and I wasn't.

So, no... I don't think so.
    no

Do you think this teenage girl is wild or more of a homebody?

Do you think she's wild and crazy and do whatever she wants because her parents are so easy or do you think she's a loner/homebody, stays at home and read all of time while feeling suffocated in her inner core because she wants to be free but her parents are so overprotective?

Girl : Aquarius Sun, Pisces Moon, Cancer Rising

Mom : Libra Sun, Virgo Moon, Libra Rising

Dad: Pisces Sun, Aquarius Moon, Taurus RisingDo you think this teenage girl is wild or more of a homebody?
    My guess:

The girl is a perfect mix of socialite, and homebody. Equally happy with both. Her Aquarius sun likes to be sociable, while the Pisces moon is dreamy and content....the Cancer rising indicates a dedication to the comforts of home.

The mother has a Libra sun and rising--Libran parents love to spoil and pamper their children...they are also liberal and good at helping their kids iron out problems. Mom's Virgo moon can tend toward carping and criticizing, but this is tempered by her Libran diplomacy.

Piscean fathers tend to be unafraid of showing their emotions around their children and seem to have an intuition about the feelings of their children. The Aquarius moon indicates that dad has a lot of charisma....and also likes to have the last word. Taurus rising says that you can depend on this dad.

If you are a homebody, there is a wild side to you that longs to be free.Do you think this teenage girl is wild or more of a homebody?
I think she should know right from wrong. It hasn't anything to be wild or a homebody.
the girl is a homebody with big dreams.

Do you think American teenage spies exist?

We know that there are U.S. spies. We know there have been tons of teeny bopper movies and books that sell the idea of teen spies. But do they exist? My opinion is that they do, because people would be less likely to be suspicious of teens, so the government might be trying to exploit that fact. What do you guys think?Do you think American teenage spies exist?
Yes, and they are watching every move you make right now.Do you think American teenage spies exist?
    No.

Being a spy is nothing like what you see in the movies. It's more like being scared for your life every second that if you say the wrong word you will be tortured for the rest of your life for information. Spies are under so much pressure, that anyone with less than adult maturity would crack in an instant.
Yeah, you know Disney based the movie Spy Kids off of real teenage spies... really? What would a teenage spy be able to accomplish?
I guess that we can't really know if there are teenage spies for the US, but they could be in other organizations for all we know. I think that it is highly possible that AT LEAST one exists.
Absolutely not. You think we would trust our security and well-being to someone straight out of puberty? However, even though most people see spies as middle-aged men, there are women spies. Lots of them.
Yes I do and this next comment is foreals also believe in teenage ninjas like and the spies are probably like the kids of seargents and the ninjas kids of famous or seargant asians
I think teenagers are to big of a risk to be employed like that. We are irrational some times (i'm 15.) and with child labor laws i don't think we would do it...
sure, but it's more like the CIA pays kids with rewards in South America for giving them info on enemy troops and leaders, etc. Not quite spies as much as stoolies...
being this is in the military section i would just address there are lot of spies in the US military mainly in the NCO ranks as far as teens i doubt it
    Only in Hollywood.
No. Kids would be the most non-productive spies out there.
With all our child labor laws i dont see the governemnt being able to use AMERICAN children, however that probly doesnt limit them to using children from other countries, especially less developed ones
No, it's illegal for them to work in the goverment
    Sorry... no.
    No.
    yes i am one

Best facial products for teenage skin?

I have quite spotty and dry skin.

Are there any really good washes or moisturizers that you have used that are a miracle?Best facial products for teenage skin?
Neutrogena (very good because it doesn't have crappy chemicals in it)

    Proactive (kinda expensive though)

    Clearsil

    Clean %26amp; Clear

Ambi (great for people with colored skin)

=)Best facial products for teenage skin?
I like proactive, but honestly a cheaper product that works great is Neutrogena oil free acne wash... you can also pick up some benzoil peroxide over the counter in the pharmacy (just ask the pharmacist). Benzoil peroxide 10% will zap any blemishes and zits. Make sure you moisturize use Olay they have great products.
I can't promise this will work for you, but I've found a combination I'm pretty happy with.

I use Clean %26amp; Clear benozoyl peroxide wash, 10 %.

and then I use a scrub by Soap %26amp; Glory (at Target) called Flake Away.

I like both products a lot.
St. Ives Apricot Scrub for your face. It exfoliates and leaves your face feeling baby soft. I'd recommend to anyone looking for soft, flawless skin.
i use this one by la roche posay or something like that

    it's amazing.
proactive! i love it i have teenage skin too!
    Proactiv

    Arbonne C
    acnefree or arbonne

proavtive is expensive and doesn't work as good
    Tee tree Oil.

    TCP.

These are very good at removing spots, fast.
Proactiv is great, but it's a litle pricy. So, my second choice would be clean%26amp;clear (:

Is it normal for teenage boys to sleep alot during puberty?

It's quite normal actually. There is a lot going on in that young body. They generally go through a growth spurt, start building more muscle mass, they start growing hair (seems like) almost everywhere! Then they are going through hormonal changes which can actually change they way they think. Some guys gain weight going through puberty. Depending on their weight before puberty this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Their voices crack and deepen (can get embarrassing) They are now developing crushes on their worst childhood enemy, GIRLS!

All this going on is a bit overwhelming and confusing, and can create temporary depressive mood swings. Most temporarily depressed people sleep.

I think with children going through puberty the standing phrase should be, ';Wake me when it's over.'; And I think they are trying to do just that.

I found that when my son was going through this stage the remark that seemed to comfort him most was ';Dang! That sucks, I'm glad I'm not you, how can I help?'; Go figure. Is it normal for teenage boys to sleep alot during puberty?
I think it is normal for teenagers in general to sleep. I know a lot of teenagers who sleep a lot, of both genders. Is it normal for teenage boys to sleep alot during puberty?
Not om;y teenage boys. Adults need to sleep a lot, too (to be 100 percent fit). 8 hours is recommended.
Yes, particularly if they are growing rapidly. My friend has a 15 year old son who has grown 5 inches in a little more than 18 months. He is constantly sleeping!

Don't wake them. They need the sleep!
teens tend to require about 9-11 hrs of sleep a night. (give or take) Some schools actually have later start times to accomodate for that.

Please help a beginning teenage driver?

Yea Im just starting driving for the first time and im 16.The instructor said I need addirional help but I dont know. When I was driving around the course i rarely knock over the cones. I dont think I have problems but it makes me seem like im the worse driver ever and Im an intelligent guy. Please help a beginning teenage driver?
In California - you take a written test %26amp; earn a ';learner's permit'; which allows you to drive behind the wheel as long as you're with a licensed adult (over the age of 25) - this gets you lots of ';behind the wheel'; -time to learn to get comfortable on the road.

Have your parents let you drive yourself to school (with them in the car) and just learn to be comfortable behind the wheel. If you need to - ask your parents to help you pay for a ';driving school'; in your area. Please help a beginning teenage driver?
When I first learned to drive, I used to practice in large, empty parking lots, such as at community colleges or big shopping malls, on Sunday mornings. Slowly drive around the access roads, turn into the parking areas and practice turning, stopping and slow speed driving with almost no danger of hitting anyone. As you gain confidence with your ability to control a car, you can drive a bit faster, then go out onto streets with one of your parents, who can take you on less-traveled roads, and gain more experience in real traffic.

Driving is all about confidence in your own skills.

Check out Car Talk's Safe Driving Zone for some good tips. The more knowledge you can acquire, the better driver you will become.

Common sense for cars, delivered with a sense of humor.]

    Good luck.
When learning to drive, there is no substitute for healthy doses of experience. Do you have a parent or other responsible adult who can take you out to practice? When my kids were learning to drive, I had them drive us everywhere we went.

How much should a girl who's 5'7 and teenage weigh?

Between 110-115. That would be a slim and nice body. It's a healthy weight and would be about a size 2 waist.

For the governmental statistics of average BMI. That could be up to 160. But that includes the half of Americans that are overweight. Someone who is healthy, female, and in her adolescent years should be no where close to that cause she's only going to have some weight as she grows.

A healthy girl should be slim at that age and height. How much should a girl who's 5'7 and teenage weigh?
I'm about the same and I wiegh about 100-110 don't listen to that other girl! How much should a girl who's 5'7 and teenage weigh?
It depends on your bone structure but the doctor used to tell me 100 lbs @ 5 feet then about 5 -7 lbs or so for each additional inch. So, maybe 130 - 145 lbs.+ Plus, remember a teenager has wacky hormones so a little extra weight can happen but no big deal...it'll come off once your body slows down....
Between 155 and 165 for a healthy weight.
    i'd say about 130 pounds
    70 at the most
probably 120 -130 dont listen to michelle no one whos healthy and 5'7 should weigh 70 pounds.
how tall is she. go onto http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_mass_i鈥?/a> and have a look at the chart on the right hand side of the page.

I'm going throught the same thing... I've tried to break up with my boyfriend a few times but the words just...wont come out. it's so frustrating...

I plan to do it tomorrow though... I just have to remember that if I were in his possition, I wouldn't want to be led on to believe I still have feelings for him when I actualyl dont...

I just need to find the strength to say it!

And you do too... I don;t know how we're gonna do it but it's not fair to the others to lead them on anymore...

good luck to you!How to Break Up With A Girl, Dating 6+ Months. Teenage Relationship?
just keep in mind it's not fair to either of you to be in a relationship like this. after so many months, i think you should be strong and just do it in person. tell her you think she is awesome and you hope to stay friends, but you don't think the relationship is going to work out anymore (or if there is a particular reason for wanting to break up maybe add that). If you really really can't do it in person then at least do it on the phone. just don't do it over text or email.
well sorry babe but ur ****** be a man and be like its over but WHY DO U WANNA!!! what did she do.... just be nice about it tho

I would like to find out what teenagers think of teenage mothers?

From what I've seen, teenagers are not practically, financially, or emotionally responsible enough to raise a baby. (let alone considering how they managed to get pregnant in the first place)

    The other day in a bus interchange, is saw a teenage mum smack her baby in the face, and when her friend commented, she said ';It was his fault, he wont shut up!';

Although... a friend of mine was married and had a baby girl at 19, and she is a wonderful mother. but she can barely be counted as a teenager.I would like to find out what teenagers think of teenage mothers?
Im sick of these f'ing questions putting teenage mothers down. You must have no life to sit here and critisize other people! ok? I am 16, haveing my baby when i am 17. Me and my babys daddy have full time jobs, vehicles, licence., apartment, and plenty of love a support! I dont see why you care about us having kids.. not all of us (me) are living on welfare just because we are ';teen mothers';. i will give my child all the love in the world plus more.I would like to find out what teenagers think of teenage mothers?
I am 14 and i think as long as they have support of your family then you will make a good mother just like an adult. Alsong as finace isnt a problem the baby will have all it needs.
I don't know if i find anything wrong with it. but i dont think teens that cant handle staying home taking care of a baby and doing things for the baby should have one. and if they think that the guy they are sleeping with is not going to be around if she gets pregnant i would even have sex with him. there is always a chance of getting pregnant even if you do use a condom. I don't think i girl that likes to party alot and cant even take care of her self should go out and have a baby.. i think thats just not right.. but i have some good friends that have babies and they are really good mothers.. one is 18 now but she was only 17 when she has the baby. and the other one is 16 and she is a really good mother. both of the daddies stayed with them and is helping out...
I think it depends on the person. most teens can't handle it. but i do have a friend that had a baby when she was 16 and she is the best mom. so i think it truly does depend on the person.
you really think you will get sensible answers. dont count on it.

remember they were all stupid enough to have unprotected sex probably a lot more than once.
Im 17 an a mom 2 b. . .there are loadsa teen pregnancys, bu like any aged person there are the good parents and bad parents. . . . .It doesnt matter on the age, weather ur a good mum or not!!!!

If the teen is mature enuff to look after her baby y not??? i dont mind teen mums personally bu am a mommy 2 be!!! lol xxxxx
i am a teenage mothers, i myself disapprove of it, my town is full of young chavs with kids that are like fashion accesories, i was silly and naive to continue my pregnancy, and advise all youngsters to abort or use contaception. i have also had an abortion so i know what its like, its not nice but if i hadnt done it i'd have a 1 and a half year old and a new born around now, im 19 and have enough to deal with without more kids
Eh...Well...My Mom turned 17 when she had me...It was about 3 motnhs after her 17th birthday that she did. I find realy ntohig wrong with it, as it is the persons choice. There is no law at all that says we can't breed by a certain age. We wouldn't get our periods so early if humans were designed for later-in-life reproduction. And the scary thing is now 8 and 9 year olds are starting to get theres...

Now, what you like the hear whats coming from my mind? The world is currently filled to the max and no one needs to make any more children for the next twenty yeqars or so. Because the world is so over populated and there is a very high demand for resources. We ripping apart the world very severly. Right now I stad on the same sex replation's side because I can agree that everyones breeding just for the hell of it. It disgusts me.

Buut, no eed to flame me for that, you can see today that is completely true.

I am agaist it as a child is the fun part of life.
Being completely honest. I mean completely. I tend to look down on them. That's not to say i think they're a bad person or that i don't respect them in some ways. But hte teen mothers I've met give up on other and ambitions and become just that a teen mother and nothing else. I guess I can't relate.

I suppose that I should respect their ability to be selfless and to dedicated thier life to another at such a young age. I don't think I could do it. I don't mean any offence to anyone thats just what I think. I cant say i'm all that proud of it. I like to think I open minded, but you cant be open minded about everything I guess.
I am a teen and i give teen mothers a whole lot of respect. They have a whole lot of responsibility and gain it in a short time. Being pregnant earlier in life isnt the end of the world, it infact is the start of your grown up life.
ive got a question for you how come all you little prostitots come on her every night crying about am i pregnant we dont know go see your docter if we were docters we would have better thigns to do than sit her and listen to you al,l wine do not take this as i am picking on you as i send this to all you dumb fucks who ask this question its getting old i know there are others who agree with me all though alot of them dont have the balls to tell you cuz they feel bad well i dont if you are scared you shouldnt have ever had sex talk to your parents then your docter then stop asking dumb questions on yahoo your wasting your points
teenage moms....hmm....im 15 n i no dat sum ppl younger dan me have babies....n i havent even been kissed yet.....well i think teenage moms must b respected as dey have so much courage to bring the baby out and take care of it...........but i really dot like the idea of bein a teen mom
Well I am a teen..yes and I mean i may be a teen mom soon.i dont know yet though, and I mean it depends on the teen mom for one thing..if she is a real H.O.E. den i mean i wont think much of her.dats her fault for fukin and blah blah blah but if she dont have a rep and she's pretty cool and she cums up preg. den i mean..i aint gon think down on her or wateva..we all make mistakes long as she dont abort that child...
Unfortunately I'm 16 and pregnant, so I cant be against, even though I was before I got pregnant.
definitally alot of credit to those teenage moms who have babies. most people and young couples struggle when they are young so dont worry about what anyone thinks. its how you think of yourself that really matters. my opinion of teenage moms [[as a 20yr old]] is that i give you all alot of credit cause i know i couldnt do it. [[no i've never been pregnant.]] dont let anyone judge you by your age either most couldnt do it. older adults that i have talked to even tell me that NO one is ready for a child until they have one. so be strong and dont let anyone judge you especially if they havent been in your shoes.
I am not a teenager........I am against teenage mothers, you should not be a kid and have a baby. It isn't fair on the baby
I am not a teen, but my step daughter became a mother shortly after turning 18. Despite the fact that she was a legal adult, and that she had graduated high school, she is now, at 20, still completely dependant on others.

College was shoved aside for working full time for minimum wage, and she has been fired from 9 jobs in the past two years because of excessive tardiness and not showing up for work, citing not being able to find a sitter.

She, along with other teen moms like her, has thrown a serious curve into her future by acting irresponsibly and having a child before she was really even capable of caring for herself.

Sadly, she hasn't learned from the experience. At 20, she's expecting her 2nd (a different father) in July, she is unemployed and living off taxpayer's $$$ .

My belief is that no one should bring a child into this world until they are 100% independant, fully finacially capable of taking care of themselves and their child, and mature enough to understand the full responsibility of parenthood.
I am a guy, but i think that they are some of the stupidest people out there, why, because life is short and there is so much more they could have done before getting pregnant. If they would wait another 5 to 8 years then they could experience so much more. I knew a 7th grader that was13 that was pregnant by a high schooler tha was 17. And she went around school bragging about it. Now at my school people were very stupid. And everybody thought it was awesome that she was pregnant. But they dont need to get pregnant until they are like 25. I dont plan on having kids until i ma around 25 to 30. I wnat to travel and see things before i have those kinds o fresposibilities.
You have yourself answered the question by writing ';be broad minded'; in your question itself. It clearly says what answer you want them to write.

Certainly not a good way of asking true opinions. Sorry to say this.
ok well I think that they have basically accelerated their life, like they have started earlier than most. I mostly view them as very responsible because all the teenage mothers I know are good mothers. I know everyone else says they are irresponsible but those are the ones that get abortions, come on people! I know a range of teenager mothers starting at age 14. Mexican girls, the most common teenage mothers, well that is more in our culture and it's not as 'outcast'. It is normal for a 15-year-old to get pregnant from her boyfriend and it is celebrated. If I saw a teenage mother on the street honestly I would say I am jealous that she has already started her family! The only thing is I am finishing my education so I have not had a baby, plus I would not be able to financially support it yet.

Honestly, when I was 15, gifts were awesome but I really liked getting gift cards (and money).

That way you know she'll get something that she REALLY likes/wants.

Maybe it feels like the ';thought'; wasn't there, but really, I think she'll like it better than trying to guess what she'll like.
I know I would love things like manicure books, or sets, where they show you how to do it and cool designs for it. Also maybe tickets to a concert that you could go to with her? Umm let me think, you could go to bath and body works and get lotions, and things like that. I'm sure she would love that

My son is in middle school and has suddenly developed an ';I know better than anyone else'; attitude about everything...constantly arguing. He also has a trigger temper that he never used to. What are some practical ways of getting him to sit and talk rationally without exploding everytime we correct him? What are some practical ways of dealing with my pre-teenage son's newly developed ';attitude';?
Most and formost.......';Stand your Ground'; if it was not acceptable 2 yrs. ago it is still not acceptable. They test us and their boundaries at this time in thier lives....it's nature working twords them becoming independent adults but...it is a very difficult time to be a parent. Always find and insist on some good quality one on one time too...they tend to spend alot of time away from their parents at this age too...and when they come back they bring the attitude. They will try to resist the one on one time...but once you stick to it they are glad for it.What are some practical ways of dealing with my pre-teenage son's newly developed ';attitude';?
I somehow lived through raising five through their teenage years. My youngest is almost 21.

You might start with not correcting him. Ask him about the item that you think needs correction. He will fall into his own trap if he has not thought this out. If he has (and is not just going with the flow) then you just might get an education as well.

If he blows up, keep your cool. Ask him how mature was that expression or act.
I have a 14 year-old and what i've found is that when she developed this attitude, I would sit and talk with with her one time and one time only , and then allowed her to learn on her own. They're at a really different age , and this allows him to come to you when he wants the advice.
Be open and honest about how you feel and just give it some time it will go away after a while and try not to force talking on to him but talk when he wants too.

What all do I get on his insurance policy

Do I have him get his own policyWhere can i get the cheapest car insurance for my teenage son who has a rolling stop and a speeding tkt. in WA
Even at 18, if he lives at your address the chances are you can add him to your policy, which would be the cheapest alternative. Unfortunately, with his driving record there won't be a cheap policy.Where can i get the cheapest car insurance for my teenage son who has a rolling stop and a speeding tkt. in WA
If he's still living with you, it would probably be best to put him on your insurance.

What are the disadvantages for a baby born to a teenage mother?

please only specify for the child NOT the mother-thanxWhat are the disadvantages for a baby born to a teenage mother?
The child won't grow up with two strong adult parents. Since the parents aren't mature enough yet to teach their children to have moral standards, the children can grow up not having a good moral compass and not be able to tell right from wrong very well. If the parents have stable jobs or careers they will be able to afford good quality food, cribs, diapers, and toys, but teenagers usually don't have money to spend any extra for another person so they'll have to buy the cheapest things or just go without. Usually the teenage parents break up so the child will grow up without knowing who his father is or where he is. The child won't get to participate in activities such as music lessons, camps, art classes, or sports because the teenagers won't have money for that. The teeanger's parents may contribute by babysitting or giving some extra money here and there but in every case I've seen, they want their children to pay for like 95%.

In short, the child gets ripped off. What are the disadvantages for a baby born to a teenage mother?
It all depends on the mother. Some teenagers are more mature then others. I wouldn't say it's a disadvantage but a different way of life for the child. I have 2 small boys and pregnant with baby #3 and I am in my 30's. So it's a different way for my kids to live as I consider myself ';old'; and having kids. I am not as energetic as I was when I was a teen. Having kids as a teen is hard but life is how you make it. This world is so complex and has many different forms to it. I would just take it as it is and hopefully she raises the baby as best she can and gives the child as much love and affection as well. The baby is not going to suffer as there are tons of places for help out there.
Just because someone is a teenage mother doesn't automatically mean their child will be disadvantaged.

There are good mothers teen mothers and bad middle-aged mothers - it depends on the woman and not how old they are.

Stereotypes and the actions of a few do not reflect on everyone so don't judge all teenage mothers just by what you've heard from some random news stories and internet sites.

My mum was a teenage mother and I was born into most stable home you could imagine. She and my dad have been together 29 years now and married for 19 of those. I didn't want for anything growing up and my parents were always there when I needed them. I wasn't deprived or fed on junk food or dressed in hand-me-down clothes. I had a good, healthy upbring and education. I learned the value of money, hard-work, and family.

Don't judge all teen mothers or teen families unless you've actually experienced one.
I personally think some teenage mothers can provide more for their children than some 33 year old welfare woman could, example my friend, had her baby at 18 years old, they child is very loved and well-cared for. Another note i know of mothers in their 30's who do not care and love for their children and they turn into delinquents or even teenage mothers themselves. I dont judge what age you are, some is a little too young example 9 -15 years old is really young. If you can provide for your child it shouldnt matter what age you are.
generally speaking the child's parents would struggle more with money. most teen parents are on benefits and i know that from experience, benefits don't give you much to spend. you have to be really careful with what you buy. of course this effects the child because you may not have enough money to completely support a family. small part time jobs won't give you much money, either.

teens are more likely to be housed in rougher areas where there is alot of noise and disruption. we are currently housed next to a noisy night club and round the back of us are a block of flats where there are alot of obnoxious and noisy people, who row consistently throughout the night. the window downstairs below our flats was also smashed in and we have had a stone thrown at our bedroom window. we are moving again shortly before our baby arrives. just imagine the unlucky families that wouldn't have anywhere else to go? the baby would be kept awake.

teen mums are more likely because of their struggles to be stressed througout the pregnancy. this in turn can effect the baby by making him/her more nervous in later life.

the teens are more likely to be immature, especially the guys, who grow-up slower than the girls and don't actually go through the pregnancy, so to them the culture shock may not seem so real. this is not everyone mind, it's just some of the things that can happen in relation to having a baby so young.
    Social

Your going to be poor, you and your child will end up being called trailer trash.

Your child may have development issues because he does not have good parenting.

    Genetic/Technical

Not much, less chances of mutations and abnormalities.
Statistically they are more likely to have behavioral problems as teens and statistically more likely to become teen parents themselves. Some teen mothers are better mothers than older women, but this has nothing to do with age and everything to do with instinct and love.
I would say the biggest one for the baby would be, not having the mother around...she'll prob leave the baby with her parents to go hang out with her friends...I knew a few girls over the years that have done this.
Well the baby could have a low birth weight, more chances of being premature, the baby cannot have the best things finacially ie. cheap food but not the best food. I had my first at 21 and now she is 2 and my second 2mths ago.
Well if the mother gave the baby up for adoption when the baby grows up they might think that no one cares about them because their mother didnt even want them.
it all depending on the teen.I am 17 I have a 16 month old and I am 10w and 6 days with #2 I work and I am going to collage to become a medical assistant and no one has to help me out with anything !
probably grow up in a lower class house

mother wouldnt have as much worldly experience

    nothing too major i guess
Nothing unless there is no money to take care of the child.
Oh God... here we go again... Dude, there are a LIST of disadvantages to a poor innocent baby being born to a teen mother!

Yeah, its a pretty old book. 1992 The author IS Laurene McDaniel, the book is called Let Him Live

uhm. yeah i cried. it was really sad haha
There is an author who writes young adult books like this. It's making me crazy--I think her name starts with M. If I can remember, I'll get back to you.

Edit: The author I'm thinking of is Lurlene McDaniel. Check her books on amazon.com and see if the one you're thinking of is there. She usually writes about dying teens. She has a series called Angels in Pink that might be what you're looking for.

Looking for a safe, reliable and economical car for my teenage daughter any suggestions?

I would always recommend an import a honda, toyota, mazda because of resale and reliability. However right now you can make some good buys on Saturns. Often times the first car isn't cared for really well and the Saturn's price wise and reliability is pretty good. Find a car, get it checked out for major engine,trans... issues. Have them look at the structure to make sure its sound and get the best price you can. The more expensive the book value the more the insurance. Saturns have a fair book value, some of the imports tend to have inflated prices. Ask around work... sometimes a car from someone that you know the history is good tooLooking for a safe, reliable and economical car for my teenage daughter any suggestions?
Ford Focus, Dodge SX 2.0, Toyota Corolla, Nisan Accent...All these cars a reliable American and Asian cars and they are all 4 cylinder motors, which you don't have very much power %26amp; can't go very fast.Looking for a safe, reliable and economical car for my teenage daughter any suggestions?
Honda Civic. Decent price, easy to work on, will last for several hundred thousand miles if taken care of.
The Toyota will be a good car for her but you have other options as well if the Corolla isnt really what you are looking for then you can look into a Honda Civic a Ford Focus or even a Saturn.
Toyota quality is second to none. W/airbags %26amp; seatbelts, pretty safe.
i believe the first car for any teenager should be a disposable car, one that is probably going to get dinged and banged up by the inexperience of the driver. it should be mechanically sound of course, and strong enough to withstand the abuse of a teenager.

i recommend the old mercedes 240D and 300D of the W123 series. these old tough cars are legendary for thier simplicity and durability. they are heavy and extremely safe, slow, so you know your kid is not going to be racing around in it, and need just enough maintenance to teach basic motor maintenance without being complex.

most people who start with one grow to love them. surf over to mercedesshop.com and do some reading about them there.

in fact, pretty much any of the mercedes cars from the 80s are going to be great 1st cars. id try to get the early / mid 80s diesels as a first choice then the W126 S class cars (300SD, 420SEL, etc) then the 300E, which is newer, safer (good) and faster (not so good.)

in my opinion teenagers should not be given cars; they should earn them. a kid getting good grades and doing all thier chores, saving money for thier own car and all that should definitely get help getting a car.

one not getting good grades, constantly skipping school, always in trouble, not doing anything to get themselves a vehicle, and so on, should get a bus pass. and that bus pass should not be an excuse for being late or absent from things and events they are supposed to be at.

a car is a responsibility. and IMO a mature and responsible teenage should get all the help they need. this is a critical time for teaching life lessons. in the real world nothing is given to you, you have to earn it, and often there are expectations that come with things you are given.

so if you do decide to get her a car, make sure it comes with some strings; she should be responsible for taking her younger sisters to school and so on.

a car is a responsibility. it needs repairs, and maintenance, and upkeep, and cleaning and that kind of attention. its not just an appliance like a dishwasher.

peoples lives can be affected by cars. you could lose your house if you dont have enough insurance and she critically injures someone in an accident. so tread carefully.

im not trying to lecture you on how to raise your kids, just sayings its golden opportunity to teach adult lessons in a way that can impart the responsibility that driving a car brings.

and make sure you set some ground rules about who can drive the car, how many people can be in it, that curfew still exists and be prepared to take the car away if your rules are not met.
I'm probably the last person who needs to respond to this, but on the cheap, you can't get any safer than a Saturn. You'll also find that insurance rates on a Saturn are much lower that most of the other vehicles folks are going to mention.

I'd also recommend getting a Saturn Vue SUV. Why? Well the 4 cyl engine is the same engine as the Saturn Ion, Chevy Cobalt, and Pontiac Sunfire which are much smaller cars. And it still averages 25mpg in mixed driving.

It will also meet your daughter's future needs. If she's going to college, she's going to need the extra room for trips home, and earning extra gas money taking friends to the mall. Plus she won't feel the need to 'upsize' to something larger down the road unless she just feels the need to replace it.

Interior space on the Vue is almost equivalent to some larger SUV's like the Ford Explorer, but you don't get the truck handling, and you definately don't get teh truck gas mileage. Besides, will you daughter ever have to tow a bass boat?

I own a 2003 Saturn Vue 5-speed, and although the car was a step down for me, for all the money I save in payments, gas, and insurance, I don't think I'm ever going back to a larger SUV.

And even though many other crossover SUV's will be mentioned, consider this, one major maintenance item on those vehicles will be changing the timing belt every 60K miles. Not so with the GM Ecotec engines. It has no timing belt. That's $600 to $1000 she'll save over the life of the vehicle.

Hope I'm not boring you or sounding like a salesman. I'm not by far. I just enjoy my Vue and encourage others to enjoy it too. At any rate, good luck.
I use to have an Olsmobile Alero, it was awesome. I bought it after I was in a high speed crash in one (my friends), it was wonderful and almost maintence free. I recently bought a Pontiac G6, it is better than the Alero!! I love it and get about 27mpg, I bought it used and haven't had to get anything done to it maitenace wise. But the car is also very sporty looking, I think she would really like it!
Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic. Both are excellent cars.
I think a Corolla is a great option. It's fairly cheap, very reliable, and gets great mileage. Also, for bang for your buck, especially for your children, look at a used car. You'll get a much greater value, and any car 5 yrs old or less from a reliable company like Saturn or Toyota should last your child long enough.
I think a toyota corolla or a camry would be the ideal car for any new driver. Reliable ,safe, very economical.
    justmercedes.com
Go for a Honda Fit!! It's a safe reliable car and after all it is a HONDA!
I would avoid any American or European made cars. They don't have the the reliability that Japanese cars do. As far as Japanese cars go I would zero in on Toyota, Subaru and Honda only. Check consumer reports and you will see that these three auto makers rock. They make everyone else look like armatures. Example compare Mercedes Benz and you will be blown away by how low they rate. It's a really good idea to check consumer reports if your buying used. For example you don't want a Subaru Forester that is older than 2002. They had problems with their drive system, however from 2003 on they are stellar. It's worth the time to research each and every contender,

Just a personal note, if I were buying a car for my teenager I would get something a little ugly, safe of course, but ugly just to keep it real.
Saturn. If you're looking for used, get an SL2 or SC2. If you're going new, get the ION.

Saturns have good warranties GET AN EXTENDED WARRANTY!! and their service is really good.
It depends on the budget and if you wnat new or used. But i would say go with a honda. Civics are nice cars or even the Fit or even a Element
The Honda Fit is new in the US for 2007 and in it's very first year here it made it onto Car and Drivers 10 best list. That says something. It's inexpensive ,it's safe, and it comes with alot of standard features that she would like, such as a jack where you can plug in your iPod to the stereo.

it comes standard with ABS, front, side AND side curtain air bags and electronic brake distribution. It's an excellent car.
go for a vauxhall corsa there small and cheap on insurance if its a first car get a 1.2 or 1.4 and there very economical
saturn is about the safest cars you can buy, but honda is the most reliable.
The best car you can get for her would be a chevy cavilier. They are small and they are easy on gas and easy to maintance. That was my first car and i loved that car.And they are very cute vehicles. You can get a 2 door or a 4 door.
volkswagon are good for safety and accidents, however toyota is good for milage, gas (depends on what you get) and style. i recommend the camry or the prius
A lot of people on here advocate smaller, 4-cylinder cars, which is fine, but it's worth remembering there are two pedals down there and both are important. When I taught at a driving school in Colorado we always recommended a 6-cylinder so that the car was less likely to be under powered. That said, the safest car, with the best affordability and cost of ownership actually wasn't a Toyota, but, of all things, a Buick Regal. She won't win any races, but they are solid, reliable cars. In addition to the added power, the car is large enough to protect her in an accident, but small enough to park in most parking spaces. She'll have seating for five, but won't have the ';cool car.'; (Might mean her friends won't want to ride with her all the time--the #2 cause of accidents being friend distractions.) Good Luck!

Why do, like, teenage girls use 'like' in so many of their sentences?

I'm very curious, as its so often in today's society. Sarcastic answers are also permitted!

Thanks in advance. 10 points for best answer. Why do, like, teenage girls use 'like' in so many of their sentences?
It's a good fill in word for me and it's also like one of those words that I just there like the one I JUST said :)

Adults also use the word ';like'; it's not just teenage girls :)Why do, like, teenage girls use 'like' in so many of their sentences?
I marked this, like interesting, because like you know, all the girls like will read it and like talk about it with like their friends and like try to like figure it out.

Actually my daughters ( one more than the other) will actually talk this way, I am trying to break them of the habit. I starred your question in hopes one of them would answer it.
well, i'm a teenage girl but i just hate it when the preps use ';like'; after every freakin word!

how i talk: hey. how's it goin?

prep talk: like, OMG! like, how are you? i'm like fantastic!!!!!!!

so as you can see, not all teenage girls say like all the time... although those preppy little dramas who shop at hollister (oh brother what a dumb store!) pretty much rule my school. i'd like to be homeschooled.

they give people like me a bad name. and there's gotta be someone to put those preps in their place... %26gt;:)

That's all you're doing? Storing music and listening to it?

You don't play computer games? You don't run any design software? You don't use any specialized commercial software?

If that's really the case, then any operating system will do, really. You could use Windows XP, Windows Vista, any of the major Linux distros (Linux Mint, Ubuntu, PCLinuxOS, Fedora), or Mac OS X.

In terms of safety, no operating system is invincible, but you're less likely to have your computer compromised on Linux or Mac OS X.

In terms of speed, they're all about the same, though Linux can be tweaked to be super-fast if you don't mind a minimalist environment.

';Better'; is just a matter of opinion. Try them all and see what you like best.MAC vs. PC: which one is better for a teenage girl who has a LOT of music and is looking for a reliable and SF?
Mac is better - an i Mac with lots of RAM and fast processor - you will not regret it. PC is for guys who have a lot of time to spend on constant upgrades, looking for newest virus/spyware protection programs and sit hours on end on Internet discussing their discoveries.
If you spend 2 grand on a Computer

Well, im a teenage girl, and i wouldn't go anywhere near him even before this recent story. He is just creepy in my opinion, but technically he didn't do anything wrong, and the person who tried to black-mail him should go to prison.
I never watch him anymore bec. he is just the clown worshiping Obama so much makes me sick.

Then yesterday one other station put out a clip showing him licking Obama's *** (I mean ';ear'; lol), I feel disgust.

This morning I heard about him had sex with his employees (plural), that makes me more disgust for him. The girls get promotion after had sex with him. Eeew !!!
I have a teenage daughter? Um... who is the mother? Why didn't you tell me earlier? Oh boy, am I gonna have to pay support?
My teenage daughter is a 6'0'; tall athlete. It's not that I wouldn't trust David Letterman, it's more that I would fear for his safety if he tried anything funny.
Who cares? I hate that guy and don't feel he deserves to catch so much sh*t over that. No I wouldn't trust my teenage daughter with anyone for that matter.
I don't care for his politics, but if I had kids I would let him around them before I would Conan. He just gives me the creeps.Looks like a lizard, and he's not very funny.
if I knew Letterman was in this part of the Country I would advise people to keep their children , Farm Animals and Pets under lock and key
And yet another Letterman rant! Do you SEE this one Republicans? LOL.
No and I would trust Republicans with my teenage son. My daughter would be safe with them.
If he has no Viagra, no problems. lol

Just kidding, I don't have one so I couldn't really say.
Someone get that jackass off the air.
Not even if I was sitting between the two.
    Before Rush or Beck.

The first card, the significator, is placed in the center of the cross. This card represents the prime energy manifest in your life. Ace of Cups: The seed of a new relationship or spiritual journey - perhaps as yet unseen. An opportunity for joy, contentment, fertility, or enlightenment. Coming to understand the emotional needs of those around you. May represent an unexpected message, a chance meeting, or the start of a friendship or romance.

At this point the cross is complete and the triangle is formed. The sixth card, placed on the bottom left of the triangle represents one of two opposing forces. Four of Cups (Luxury), when reversed: New and unusual relationships and opportunities. The reawakening of your appetite for life or love. The path of excess leading to spiritual rejuvenation and the appearance of novel ambitions. It is normal for a psychic to ask a teenage to read their future?
';Psychics'; are selling a product, and just like any other vendor, they try to sell to as many customers as possible.

Their product is pure bunk, of course, but there's tons of trash sold to teens: 'Teen People' magazine, for example.
Normal is a relative term. Most Psychics are getting paid for their ';forecasts';. They perform their service for whoever pays for it.
They wish to sell a service, and when a teenager walks by they will offer their ';services'; to them as well as any other persons they meet.
