Obese teenage friend at risk of type 2 diabetes?

I have a teenage friend(15)who is obese and around 270-300 lbs and she is at risk of type 2 diabetes, does anyone know what she can do to prevent this?Obese teenage friend at risk of type 2 diabetes?
Your friend should do the following as a start:


1. Make sure to get plenty of exercise. It can be difficult to get into the swing of things, especially if she is out of shape or seriously de-conditioned, but it鈥檚 important.


2. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. One tip is to pick your fruits and vegetables according to the rainbow colors. Eat non-starchy vegetables such as spinach, carrots, broccoli and green beans with your meals.


3. Eat low-fat dairy like skim milk and non-fat yogurt. Drink water and calorie-free beverages instead of regular soda, fruit punch and sweat tea.Obese teenage friend at risk of type 2 diabetes?
i have diabetes and it hurts she need to watch what she eat and work out avoid stress and live her life to the fulliest
she has to shed the extra pounds.
