it seems like most guys in their late teens go for girls who are atleast 2 years younger. Why?Why do teenage guys prefer younger girls?

because its harder for teenage guys to get with older girls, but younger girls will go out with anyone as long as they are older and can show them off to their mates. Guys like to do that whole macho masculine protection thing and that's easier with a younger girl as well.
most guys prefer younger girls, not just teen guys. and then there's a handful that like them older. i've heard that it's coz guys tend to like to be the one in control so they go for someone less mature and someone who won't take over a relationsihp.
It is instinct from back when we were just getting started as a species. In order to procreate the species better men would look for the younger females because they could bear children better than older woman.
