Why do people vote for Obama if he aproves teenage abortion?

I just don't get it !隆!隆

:)Why do people vote for Obama if he aproves teenage abortion?
that's not all, he support Partial Abortion.. It's allowing women to make last minute decision to abort even if she is 8 months pregnant.. that is murder.. I don't get it either.. it's terrible..

THE 5 STEP PARTIAL BIRTH ABORTION PROCEDURE

A. Guided by ultrasound, the abortionist grabs the (live) baby's leg with forceps.

B. The baby's leg is pulled out into the birth canal.

C. The abortionist delivers the baby's entire body, except for the head.

D. The abortionist jams scissors into the baby's skull. The scissors are then opened to enlarge the hole.

E. The scissors are removed and a suction catheter is inserted. The child's brains are sucked out, causing the skull to

collapse. The dead baby is then removed.

Will God have mercy on the person doing this? Why do people vote for Obama if he aproves teenage abortion?
By no means an abortion supporter but know that the entire abortion subject is a wedge issue and should have never been an item on the federal agenda. Abortion rights or wrongs should be weighted first by those that suffer the most, those who suffer or work the hardest in birthing is woman. Men are simply a tag on alliance to the issue. Next, why would you think that the federal government should have a say for such a private and state level concern? If there is one thing you should get is not to place your hopes of our future on an issue that is only designed to sway the vote... Just an opinion.
A lot of it had to do with the Republican party not having the favor and faith of the people on their side. Obama won because he actually had a better plan. He made it clear what his plan will be and he hired experienced individuals to help him. No candidate is 100% correct all of the time. Obama has his own set of issues that many don't agree with. But many Americans saw something they could identify with. That is why he won. No candidate is perfect. And many weren't comfortable with McCain's policies. Also him running a dirty campaign made a difference.
Maybe because abortion isn't such a huge issue like the repubs make it? Obama also supports sex education to prevent teens from getting pregnant in the first place. If abortion was not legal, people would find other ways to abort the fetus. They would kill the baby once they had it, or they would use a coat hanger to try to perform their own abortion. It's that simple. Taking away a woman's choice doesn't accomplish anything.
This is not about morals, teenage girls, religion, etc.

Girls/Women not just teens, have the right as americans to go to a safe place like planned parenthood %26amp; other similar places so they can get abortions done SAFELY.... If this was not legal, there would be people trying to self abuse, drink, hit their stomach, or fall, go to ';back alley clinics';, or do other things to try %26amp; get the abortion whether its legal or not, its a right as a free american %26amp; also as a woman to do what you want with your body, if your Christian %26amp; that's what you believe in, I understand but that's no reason to put a baby in a bad, wrong, poverty (possibly) situation, just because your religion, sometimes you have to sacrifice for yourself....Abortion is not murder, the fetus or baby has not developed those parts that sense emotion like a brain %26amp; nervous system...so they don't feel it thank god...

but this is not immoral you do what you have to do....%26amp; OBAMA is standing up for woman's RIGHTs %26amp; freedom when he says ';pro-choice'; Think of all the circumstances not just one....irresponsibility
Because of the moral downfall in america. Society is all about if it feels good do it, we can take care of the consequences. Not just teenage abortion, but partial birth abortion and killing a child who happens to be born after an abortion went wrong. Why don't we do like China and only have one child per family.
A person votes for someone who holds 'most' of their ideals. I have never had the opportunity to vote for someone who I agree with completely. Abortion is a very controversial topic and there is always arguments for or against it. It is finding the candidate that you agree with the most or in some cases disagree with the least. It is all politics.
Because when you look at the job description of the President you find that certain issues are primary duties and certain duties are by delegation or appointment. In the case of abortion, that is a secondary issue, because he can only indirectly influence that decision.

You may be intersted in the fact that 32% of evangelical Christians voted for Obama. Primarily because we looked at the primary issues that the President can affect.

We see people on the verge of losing their homes who are trying to find a decent job, and unable to do so, and see our local food pantries running out of food, because there are so many people needing assistance. When the county is running out of Section 8 vouchers and so people cannot find affordable housing, when people cannot get healthcare to keep current jobs.

When those are the key issues we see in people we know, and are the same issues that many of us face, we act upon the principles in the book of James. In that scripture we are told that if we have the ability to help others, we should do that. Not simply say ';go I wish you well.';

We see the daily needs of people who are willing to work, not being met.

When those issues are taken care of....the primary life-sustaining needs....then we can worry about secondary issues.
The odds that McCain, or any other Republican, would have been able to overturn Roe v. Wade is practically nil.

First, a liberal justice would have had to retire or die; if a Conservative judge retired or died then McCain would only have really been restoring a Conservative vote and not replacing a Liberal vote.

Secondly, McCain would have had to pick a Conservative judge who was willing to be rather hypocritical, because true Conservative judges would generally respect court precedent and continue to vote what had already been voted.

In essence, McCain was going to have to find a Conservative judge who was willing to ignore Conservativism.

And finally, McCain was going to have to try to find a way to get that judge past the significantly Democrat leaning Senate. And while tradition generally holds that the Senate will confirm a Presidential appointment to the Supreme Court, there are exceptions to that tradition.

And the exception is almost always based on the legality of abortion issue. Most likely, McCain would never be able to get an anti-abortion judge through this Senate.

So while I am against abortion, I am a realist. This issue is fairly irrelevant because McCain was in no position to change anything. I care, but it doesn't matter.

On the other hand, McCain's economic plan would have nearly destroyed our economy. It would have continued to deplete the money supply of the Middle Class, and then the Rich and Business Owners would have lost out when their customers could not afford to buy their products at all anymore. Its already pretty slowed down, but it would have come to a standstill, which is destruction for our economy.

So with McCain unable to change the social issue I want changed, and Obama having the better economic plans, Obama was they way to go for me.
Wait! Does he actually support forcing teenages to have abortions?!?

When did he ever support someone forcing anyone, much less a teenager, to have an abortion.

Uh, never happened.

Remember: he's supporting people's right to make a choice. The people that HAVE the abortions are the ones you should be questioning.

Personally, I think it should be a criminal act for a teenager to have sex. How about you?
weather the president supports abortion or not, abortions are still going to happen. if people have to do it illegaly, they will. the idea of supporting abortion is not to say it is okay to kill babies. it is not to say it's okay to have unprotected sex because u can always get rid of the ';problem'; after. it's to say people are going to do what they feel they have to do anyway so better to do so in a safe/controlled environment. that doesn't mean obama himself believes in abortion, but he believes that we as people have the right to choose what is best for ourselves and our futures. supporting a person on just the abortion issue alone is silly, because even if McCain had won, abortions would still happen.... u get my point?
Obama doesn't support abortion, he supports your right to choose. I hope that's a decision you never have to make, but at least you're free to do whatever you feel you must do. He would rather have you educate yourself about where babies come from and know how to prevent the conception of an unwanted child so that you aren't faced with a harder decision down the road. Live your life according to your beliefs. That's something that Sarah Palin wasn't able to impress upon her daughter. I wish you better luck.
Abortion for most people during this long election wasn't the BIGGEST issue at hand. Most important- economy, the safety of our country, war, terrorism. Sometimes you have to turn your head to things your may not agree with. Weigh in what matters the most. Abortion wasn't too high up on the ladder of importance this election.

Where did you get your source for this anyway??
You really need to source where exactly he said ';I champion teenage abortion.';

ROE V WADE IS STILL IN EFFECT. It does not matter what president supports it or not. You shouldn't be a social issue voter when thousands of women's babies are dying overseas in a war. There are many more important issues than an abortion, considering there is already laws in effect.
Our country has become a godless nation that is more worried about the ';benefit'; of the economy than murdering innocent babies (even after they are born). Obama supported the killing of failed abortion babies, after they are born. It makes me sick and makes me wonder if the end is near.
He can approve all he wants but still the laws can not be changed with out a vote.... BUT like last night it proved our votes dont count the electoral votes are to come in after the popular votes cause they are suppose to consider the popular votes but before the polls were closed the electoral votes were being done..... Nice to know our votes dont matter.
why wouldnt he approve abortions period. people get rapped, children and adult women alike and not only that, some people are not ready to have children and you can say just dont have sex thats what everyone says. truth is everyone does have sex its human nature. there are a lot of men (no disrespect to men) who doesn't take care of their children putting all the strain and responsibilities on women causing them to struggle and if not a struggle, the misleading of raising our children in a positive way because the parenting is one sided.

another reason people voted for him is that there are far to many major issues to be concerned about then abortions and gay marriages etc. america is a free country! and if another republican was elected the kid would die of starvation anyway or probably be homeless. over all the people voted for him (i included) so get over it. and teenagers need to have their childhood and should have the choice of weather they can handle the huge responsibility of becoming not just a parent , but a damn good one. its not an easy job. and thank God we have a new leader whos wise enough to figure it out. go PRESIDENT OBAMA! O BABY!
You make the mistake of accepting rhetoric as fact, not doing research on a cndidates stances and not looking at the entire story. I voted for Obama because of all of the issues facing our country today and his response to those issues as opposed to Senator McCain's response to those issues.
Life is sometimes cheap and people refuse to take responsibility for their actions. Besides, we do not have to look at the poor little ';creature';. Nobody has the right to inconvenience a poor little twit who can not be bothered with the result of a one night stand. Just a thought from Minnesota, Land of Socialist Democratic Peoples Progressive ideals. Modeled after the economic principles of East Germany. I bid thee adieu.
Unfortunately life doesn't have the value it once had, thats why today we still have slavery in other countries and maybe even some still right here in the US, life is not as valuable to most americans as it is to God. We are now no longer a nation of God fearing people, and the consequences will be costly.
Because Obama follows the wind and goes with the flow. Abortion rallies (fetal murdering) are a fine example of just how much this country is going to hell. God will and evidently ';is'; lifting His hand of protection off of America.
Because he does not want to punish anyone with a child. Socialism is about elimating consequences for choices. Wouldn't you rather live in a world where no matter what you do, you cannot fail? I mean, you cannot really succeed, but neither can you fail.
I do not believe in abortions at all.But theres never going to be anyone one the ballot that I agree with 100 % so when you vote for a president, I guess you find out who you agree the most with on all the issues not just one.
Obama has supported INFANTICIDE. Which is the killing of live babies, out of the womb, that were from abortions that didn't take.
Because we don't vote based on a SINGLE issue. We can see a BIGGER picture.

And the fact that you ';don't get it'; is indicative of many like you who also cannot see a big picture.
We could never understand polotics as well as the poloticians.

Obama is smart and he knows what he is doing.
Because (thankfully) most people don't base their vote on a single issue such as this when there are other things to consider such as the economy, foreign policy, war - you know things that might actually affect your life.
When will you people realize that nobody is for abortion. They are either for or against it being a personal decision. My god people, read a little.
Because the majority of us support a woman's right to make moral decisions for herself. Most of us respect women enough to believe that they are able to do that.
i am all for it. this is one of the major reasons why i voted for obama. womens shouldnt have someone like you telling them they have to give birth.
Um he is PRESIDENT NOW! There is no more need to drag down his name. Accept him as your leader and come together with the rest of the Americans so that we can save this country instead of being so divided all of the time!
