Why are there so many teenage pregnant shows?

Seriously, it's aggravating, there's The Secret Life of an American Teenager, and MTV's 16 and pregnant.... all it does is encourage the little whores (excuse my french). Why do they do it?Why are there so many teenage pregnant shows?
16 And Pregnant clearly shows that it's ridiculously hard to be a teenage parent. They're not encouraging it. The show never has a happy ending. It ends with the girls still having a hard time adjusting and being able to take care of the baby. It shows that they get no sleep, they have to get jobs to provide for the baby which also means figuring out a place for the baby to go while they work, and they have to either quit school or learn to juggle that while also taking care of their child. It shows that the father is basically either never there, or he's not helpful at all. It shows that most of their family practically disowns them.





As for The Secret Life Of The American Teenager, they may glamorize it a bit, but they aren't really encouraging it either.





You can't blame TV shows for teenagers getting pregnant. That is their own fault, and they know what the repercussions are when they have sex. They aren't completely stupid. You can't claim that they watch a TV show and go, ';Yes! That's what I'll do! I just saw something on TV about a 15 year old girl who got pregnant, and they just made it look so easy that I think I'd like to get pregnant too!';








They make the TV shows to show teenagers what it's really like to be a parent. They make them see that it's not easy, and it's not fun.Why are there so many teenage pregnant shows?
The reason there are so many teenage pregnant shows is because teenagers are not well informed that having sex will ruin their ******* life. So by producing these shows they target teenagers to be careful with intimacy. And please DON'T call GIRLS WHORES its RUDE if you haven't NOTICED!!!!! If your sick with the shows then get a different cable but, i doubt that the tv controls the channels you watch YOU DO??? SO why the **** are you complaining if you take it to that channel??? Hmmm? No offense
Well no because those shows display the consequences of having sex and getting pregnant at a young age...If it was meant for little ';whores'; then they would show them being sleezy and sleeping around but they dont. They show that being a mom at a young age is not easy whatsoever so it helps give insight on what could happen if you choose to have sex young...
because there are so many pregnant teenagers and people are hoping if the teenagers who aren't pregnant yet see what it would be like to be pregnant at that young of an age than they won't even want to risk getting pregnant until they're older therefore the teenagers won't be having sex and they won't be getting pregnant... at least not for a few more years
actually no its not encouraging anyone to do anything, that's my personal opinion. i think they're trying to put theses shows out there to show teenage girls how hard it is to have a baby...
Ha!, little whores! well I think its because people will watch anything now-a-days, and maybe to show the ';little whores'; what their life would be like.
So people see what it'd be like if you got pregnant during a teenager. It don't look pretty. xD
