My age was 13 through 16 or 17. I've known a lot of kids to start at 12. These days I am starting to see it start at 11. This is mainly in girls. I'm not so sure about boys.


I'm sorry but I don't agree that it's based on the parents techniques. My mother is a saint and I was very rebellious. Same with some of the 11 year olds I know about now. It's not the parents fault in a lot of cases. I believe it's pure hormones and it either hits your kid hard or it doesn't. Either way, we deal it! Hope this helped!
I think its what they do when they try to form there own indimpendence.
