No, no-one can force you to place your baby for adoption. You could live in foster care with your child if your mom tries to do so. If you want to keep your child come up with a plan as to how you could support yourself and take care of your child. Explore government assistance if need be. Then talk to your mom and let her know how much you want to keep your baby and how you will regret it if you don't. Tell her what you are doing to prepare to be a good mom and raise your daughter.

On the other hand you can not force your mom to take care of your child. It would be nice if she would offer a bit of assistance but you need to be prepared to take on the responsibility of raising your child.

If you do go with adoption consider an open adoption so you can remain a part of your child's life. Also pick adoptive parents that you feel comfortable with. But if you don't want to go the adoption route let your mom know now and be ready to stand up to her if she tries to convince you otherwise.

okay do you have the baby daddy name and info your parents can not do this because it needs your consent or signature and the fathers and if his parents feel that they can raise the child then i don't think your parents have a case, that's all i could get i looked every where seeing if there were laws against you making the choice as the teenage mother as far as it goes nothing confirmed it and i looked at Minnesota rights nothing there either.
No. The mother of the teenaged girl can make her life hell, but she can't force the teenaged girl to give up her baby for adoption. Hard to believe, isn't it, that a grandparent would throw their grandchild away.
yes
