Do you allow your child to drive in cars with teenage drivers?

Honestly, my parents never gave a rat's *** who drove me where. They trusted my judgment and knew that I was smart enough not to get into a car with a driver that I didn't trust. Actually, most of my friends were seniors when I was a freshman so they had a few years of experience. I was never in an accident either.Do you allow your child to drive in cars with teenage drivers?
Ha. I do my mother doesnt kno. b/c i go out for lunch with older kids who drive. My mother really doesn't like it. for unknown reasons but your best bet is to first somehow meet the person who does drive and hope to god that they dont get into a accident. hopefully he/she isnt doing what i am doing. lolDo you allow your child to drive in cars with teenage drivers?
my parents never cared but at the same time i never asked to ride w/ ppl they already didn't know

and i knew my mom would pick me up any where i needed it so i wasn't scared to say no to some one

all my friends also were made to buy their own cars and pay for gas and insurance so no one was to stupid there was no free rides from their parents
My mother never did unless she knew the driver.
No. My brother's friend died in a smash when he was sixteen, the driver was just barely seventeen and hadn't even passed his test. I'm permanently grateful that my parents were absolutely ruthless about not letting my brother go in a car with anyone like that. It's simply not worth it.
Im 18 and my mom lets me ride with my one friend who is 17 and has had her liscense about 6 months now.

Another friend she lets me ride with isnt a teen but he still is pretty young he is 23.

She knows both of them pretty well and they are both awesome drivers.
my parents do- but then im a teenager myslef and the biggest dissapointment to them in the world
Depends on the person driving. I could go with people that are safe. If I was comfertable with them, my parents didn't care .
I guess if i had a kid (i'm only 13yrs old), i would like to know the person first, and make sure that they are a responsible person with no driving offences etc. I'd also like to know that they're not doing drugs or alchohol. Mainly, i'd like to just be able to trust the teen with my own child's life. Coz, that's basically what u'd be doing if u asked urself this question. I'd give them a little bit more freedom in their choices, my mum wouldn't let me, but i'd let my child make their own mistakes, they won't learn from me telling them what to do, it'll just make them more eager to live a little more dangerously. You can't always be the overprotective parent.
only when they are seniors, that way they have some experience driving for a year or 2 and are more mature
